Thread: POLL: Who thinks that SOE should back up what they state?

I am not saying to take the Mando/Cer. away from ME's Just give it to MM's
I can make one but I can't play one... Thats WRONG!
I would love a stringed instrument as a master musician. I think many things could be changed for the better in the musician's world. I don't think that it is right to say that because you can make an instrument you should be able to play it though. I'm certain there are guitar factories in the real world in which guitars are assembled by workers that don't know the first thing about playing one.
You have a point about the master musician description though.
Hell there should be no prestige in moving up the skill tree. Just let every novice use it all then its an even playing field. Only make increased skill effect healing efficiency.

I think, and I have stated this before in many threads, that a master musician should be able to play all the instruments in the game. The master entertainer should get an ability more befitting the title. A master musician that can not play a certain instrument is like a master chef that can't cook a steak for some reason. It just doesn't make sense.
What to give the master entertainer? I am not sure. Certainly there is an ability more akin to "entertainer" than an instrument.

SOE needs to fix the bug. You know, the bug where it says that a Master Musician knows how to play ALL the instruments. This is a remnant from Beta that was never changed. It should be.
MM will never get the Mando, deal with it.

Simply change the wording on the MM skill box. (Anyone who disagrees with me is dumb cause I am Uber Lord of Musicians!)
Make a vibro harp for MM or Composer, shift Omni and C-horn down. Make the vibro sound different than Mando. Make the other instruments have unique sounds.
ME must continue to have mando and ceremonial, or vibro harp and ceremonial and then move mando, either way, don't care. Nothing wrong with being a master and not knowing how to play every instrument, or being a master entertainer and knowing a unique instrument.
