Problem with techno is when was the last time you saw a band perform techno music?

Ok, we all want new songs. But I rarely hear anyone talk about what type of songs we'd like to see. Off the top of my head, here's what I'd like to hear:

Blues

Metal / Punk

Bluegrass, NOT COUNTRY Big difference lol

Im sure alot would enjoy Techno, tho I'm not one of them )

Funk, though this does sort of exist already, mando on sw1. Would it be stepping on toes to have a song that also has a funk sound on mando, or is that a bad idea?

Latin. I may be white as rice but i know what some of the hottest music on Earth sounds like when i hear it.

Anything with an interesting time signature. Like Dave Bruebeck's album Time Out, has a song in a 5, a 3/3/4/4(thats beats per measure i think, not a skill box description). See also Eleven by Primus, i think on Seas of Cheese, at of course, 11 beats per measure. Hope i got the terminology right, im a self taught amatuer irl. This might be technically difficult/impossible but would be sweet if possible.

I know considering our top issues this type of improvement could well be quite far down the road. But the servers are down at time of post and i truely have nothing better to do haha.

Blues is probably the best add to start with.
Techno next.
I would like to play some Celtic type music, that ouwld be too cool.
Maybe some music that is representative of tribal influence (gungan, drall, tusken, etc.)

I would ALSO like to be able to move around slowly while I play.

Celtic would be uber good call, i'd bumb bluegrass for this on my first list. Though we all know bluegrass has very strong roots in Celtic style hehe.

I'd like some more Star Wars tunes! I'd like to be able to play the main John Williams theme with my band. Maybe, since it's "special," we'd only be allowed to play it once in a while or something.

Beyond that, I'd like R&B, jazz, more rock electric guitar (a la mando in Star Wars I), and classical.

How about special music that you can only play for missions? Kind of like how you get schematics for crafting missions, you could get music for musician missions and dances for dancer missions.. And you'd only be able to play it while you had the mission.

i think the ommni box would be the perfect instrument for some techno!

i'm with the starwars themed music. i love the sunrise music on naboo (it's very episode 2) and would love to be able to play that too.

I would love to see heavy metal (and I'm talking heavy!). But, given the range of instruments (with the exception of the Mandovial) it would be kind of funny to hear/see someone playing a heavy metal type song. Maybe they could bring out new instruments to go along with some cool head banging flourishes with mosh animation.

Ok, enough dreaming. Blues would definately be a cool addition. So would more Star Wars songs. I also love the Techno/industrial idea.

Blues would be my number one choice. I have so many songs that I sing that would be much better with a blues riff. Also, something sort of R&B/Funk would be cool too. Something like a classical fanfare/march would be great, for events and processions (ceremonial is ok but ... I'd like something not in a minor key I guess), something good for weddings or other happy occasions.

how about some faction oriented songs? like the imperial march for imps or sumting liek that? i know starwars 3 can resemble that on some instruments but it would be cool as hell to go into an imp town and here that being played, also the main star wars theme you here during the intro text rolling thing. And new insturments would be great also, string instruments, mandovial is good but thats it? i would love to play a big stand up bass type of instrument.

I think you're right about the box, and so do others. There was a club on my server awhile ago that played live music (They had a streaming station you could tune into.) During the hours they were "open" the DJ was there playing an Ommni Box named his "DJ Machine"I believe it was.

Problem is that leaves out the rest of the instruments.

But we definately need new music. I vote for: All of the above! Lots of new music, in a veriety of styles.
