Thread: What kind of songs would you want to see?
As to the rock=blues+country.... Ever taken a modern country song and played it uptempo? It sounds likeclassic rock... Which is what rock sounds like as well. (It reminds me of faint hints of Iron Butterfly, very strongly when played on the nalargon.)

With the instruments, need somemore of a in the mood type big-band sound. But Blues, definitely. You look at that, and there's all sorts, I love that Delta blues sound and the more electric Chicago blues, that's what I'd hoped Jazz would be like. Already have rock, and rock=blues+country, so Bluegrass would be cool, too. I wouldn't mind an old-time Gospel number, also, something jivin.' But something that could work for weddings as well.
Ooh, celtic music would be good!
I'm not sure how practical this would be, but how about having high-level songs where the musician/band use their voices as instruments? Maybe to get around the problem of writing lyrics it should be more along the lines of gregorian chanting that singing distinct lyrics.
More Starwars Music definitly ... I want to play Imperial March, Duel of the Fate, Throne Room ... all the big song we loved in StarWars ...
This would be awesome ... Entertainers are a joke now ... People laugh at us when me and my partner go in front of Theed's starport and start playing the only song I really like: Virtuoso
Great fun though ...
WAY more starwars music and even some of the in-game music we all love.
I'd like a gangstariffic theme too...
How bout the background tune to Gangsta Nation? I mean that's only like four notes ![]()
Duel of the Fates?! That'd be amazing to play.
I personally think there should be more unique music. Stuff that most people haven't heard. The Blues would be good, and I could go for some of the tribal/Celtic sounds. I think that with new songs however, there should be new instruments
They've hinted at epic quests like the RIS armor... so a quest to get the ability to play John Williams music?
The Dave Brubeck Quartet song is Blue Rondo A La Turk; look to Rush for some of the more interesting time signature combinations.
Rock ballad.
Romantic (i.e., Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakoff,) though Classical would also be acceptable. No Baroque, though. I have yet to hear Ceremonial; sounds like it may fall into this category.
Reggae. Celtic. Anything that grooves.

Partial English Translation
Feel my body growing
My bones have started glowing
The time has come for showing
That I'll shape you up and work you out
You've got to feel the heat
My soul is sythisizin'
My whole frame is jumpin'
Gotta move your body, Gotta move your feet
Lapti Nek
Gotta move your feet as you walk the street
Lapti Nek...
