What force skills will you be implementing for specific advantage to the musician profession? Will they be implemented with the Jedi system, or how soon after? If the answer is "NONE" may we provide a list of suggested skills that would be specific to this profession for developer consideration?
The answer is “none”. Please work with NewJedi to develop a reasonable list and I will work with the team to see what is possible and what is not.

I never saw that coming.

I just think it's very sad that from the reply it sounds like it wasn't even something they ever thought of before it was asked.

I'm getting very tired of being the bearer of bad news. Do these devs have NO GOOD NEWS FOR US AT ALL?
Some rants will be appearing in the Correspondent Forum tomorrow...
Incidentally, there issomething doubly strange about this. I don't remember submitting that Question! I mean, that's more or less the question we seemed to be settling on, but two days ago TH told us we wouldn't be submitting our questions til next week, so I didn't. Or maybe I did! Or maybe (gasp) one of the devs read our thread? I check these boards once or twice a day, and I swear I don't remember submitting this question.LoL, short-term memory is the first thing to go.

Either Panthu has also lost it or TH has decided that the correspondents are no longer necessary and is selecting his own questions. Either way it does not look good for the entertainer professions

So basically we really shouldn't even bother submitting questions anymore, right? Because it looks like TH will just come up with questions of his own that he then can answer as he pleases.

I just posted on that 19 answers thread, right on the heels of another regularfrom this forum (sorry Tralmek, didn't see your post there or I would have added some references to it in mine. I read TH's answer and hit Reply immediately to start off on my rant).
I can only encourage everyone here to do the same. Sure, we should try to keep it reasonably constructive (I'm not sure I succeeded too well in that regard to be honest...), but we have to make our opinions known in no uncertain terms. How's that saying? The squeaky wheel gets the grease, or something like that. It is all about visibility, and right now the Devs don't really see us. We have to change that.
So please get over there and start posting. Now. Thank you.

I was very much mistaken in my post out on the 16 Answers page:it has been a few hours and I'm still seething, I still think what I wrote there is a valid assessment of both my feelings and the general attitude of the boards.
Reading a piece Tiaga wrote on the Entertainment forums showed me a few things though, first it reinforced what I already knew, our correspondants are probably the best representation we could have talking directly to the devs, the correspondants are doing a fabulous job. The second thing it did was take an accurate sampling of the entertainment boards--Dancers are seething but still restrained, the Entertainment board has become a trading zone for macros, and the Music board has become totally disenchanted. Third, it showed that big or small, the Devs need to take some action to actually do something for the entertainment community because there's no way simple words are going to calm us as our professions die around us. Finally, Tiaga mentioned something I hadn't thought of: our correspondants are not crowd control, they are community representatives. They have been forced into the position of crowd control, the Devs are IMHO using our correspondants to shield themselves from us.
It is therefore long past time (but hopefully not too belated) for us to take this beyond just our entertainment boards. The rest of the entertainers already know how we feel. It is time to take this to the 16 answers page, PM's to Devs, anything we can do to get heard. I don't think we should continue to burden our correspondants with crowd control, they have enough battles before them already, and the last thing I want to see isSOE retiring correspondants. It's high time we took our issues to the community at large.
*Lilo checks to see if the rant is over now...nope, he's still angry...maybe another couple of hours will help*
I'm going to try to get a few more hours of sleepy time now.
Love Y'all,

Couldn't agree more. Members of each entertainer profession should start posting in every 19 answers thread from now on. The Correspondents are in no way to blame for this mess - NewJedi is doing a fantastic job, and from what I hear, the same seems to be true for the Dancer Correspondent - so we should take this directly to the Devs and just keep hammering this home to them until they get off their asses and do something about our professions just to shut us up.

I can't figure out how to post links. But, these threads are usually in the "In Live" forum.
I'll consider posting a response to the actual "answers" at a point in time where I'm able to verbalize my thoughts without getting banned.

What? Thunderheart, answering what he wants to answer? Not caring about the entertainment professions? Su-****ing-prise... well, not really... its expected.
On a side note, is it possible not to be cynical at this point?

Post your reaction/disappointment/frustrations here. Vocalize, people - if we're not loud, we won't get heard.
