Well, I'mnot sure I did submit that question, but I guess I don't really mind, because it's the question that many of us wanted asked. And I can't imagine TH was all that anxious to answer it, since the answer was yet more bad news for us. At least it was a clear answer: no.

We're really on a roll.

Off to post in Tiaga's thread now. He showed his post to me in draft form, and I thought it was great.

I mind. They didn't follow their stated procedure. It's insulting.

Honestly, I'm just not 100% sure whether I submitted it or not. I don't remember submitting it, but I'm not sure about it.The fact that Panthu's question was supposedly lifted out of her forum also suggests ours was lifted out of this forum. But I'm just not sure, which makes me reluctant to point fingers until I know for sure. I'm going to try to find out more.

Either Panthu has also lost it or TH has decided that the correspondents are no longer necessary and is selecting his own questions. Either way it does not look good for the entertainer professions

Panthu submitted a question - a different question, about our (dancers) role in the game, etc. TH ignored it and lifted the "setperform" bug question from our forum himself. The consensus so far is that he wanted an easier question to tackle. Kind of annoying, don't you think? Kind of disrespectful to the correspondent, eh?

Re: the force sensitive skills for entertainers, or should I say LACK of FS skills for entertainers... At the entertainer panel at FF, someone pointed out to Runesabre (Lead Designer for Live) that there are no entertainer-specificFS benefits in the proposed new skill trees, despite the fact that there's something there for just about every other class, be it combat or crafting. His response was something like, "Wow...that's true. We'll have to look into that."

I try not to be cynical all the time but boy, that really made me feel like entertainers have been completely forgotten by the developers of this game. As if we didn't suspect this already.

Tiaga's re-post in the Entertainer Forum of what he posted to the correspondents forum is a must-read, by the way. Very insightful, and convincing, without being at all whiney.

I'm going to wait until my fists stop shaking in rage before even considering posting a reaction to this.

In the meantime, does anyone have a link to the 19 questions thread? Where would I find it? I usually just see links to it and follow them...

Thanks.

Never give up, post our thoughts and ideas and push for them. Things will come but we shall get nothing if we sit idly by. We're not AFK. We post and think, challenge TH and the devs. We shant be ignored. Let the people speak! Be heard!

Er, how do I do that? Tried clicking on Profile and Dashboard and whatnot, didn't see it.

When I first saw the "Q&A", my initial reaction was that TH had assumed one of my posts about FS entertainers in the Correspondent forum was Our Question. I had posted about it informally there already. Then I also thought, well maybe TH had abruptly changed his mind about posting a question and had PM'dwhichever Musician(s) happened to be online to ask what hte consensus was. Then I thought, maybeI'm just getting old and did post the question and just forgot.

Anyway, I've inquired about this in the Correspondent Forum; no reply yet, but it's the weekend. FWIW, other Correspondents also appear to have been confused by how the 19 questions/answers were put together last week.Normally THputs uphis draft answer for several days' of comments from us; I'm hoping we return to that procedure next time.

Time for me to start polling for our next question.

Open your IM window (click the little mail image top right of screen) and then click Outbox... there will be a list of all the IMs you've ever sent along with the message in them

and actually, you can tell if they have been read by the other party(s) by looking at the date / time stamp........ if it is bold then the IM has not been read.... if it is non-bold, then it has been read (or at least loaded)
