FanFest/Correspondent Feedback Changes
- You can now group with your droids in space
- It is no longer possible to inadvertently pay double XP for learning a new skill (Ed: Possibly related to being inspired?)
Profession: Entertainer
- Added a New Dance - Bunduki (an interpretive dance from the planet on which the Teras Kasi fighting style originated)
- Added a New Song - Swing
- Add new particles to the old healing branch
- New dance particles:

- Dance Floor
- New music particles:
- Featured Solo
- Laser Show
- Fire Jet 2
- Exotic flourishes now function properly.
- Battle Fatigue is no longer acquired and entertainers can no longer heal it.
- Entertainer's and elite professions' skill branches have been reworked to accommodate these changes.
- Add NEW dance props to old healing branch
- Staff
- Sword
- Sparkler
- Glowstick
- Torch
- Ribbon
- Double Ribbon
- Mystical Ribbon
- Double Mystical Ribbon
- Sparkle Ribbon
- Double Sparkle Ribbon
- Also, at novice dancer or higher, dancers can dual wield props.
Full patch notes here for your feedback.
It's unclear how the skill trees have been reworked exactly, I'm awaiting reports on that from TC.

Don't see much at all for compensation for removing BF from Musicians. A new song, and some particle effects?
I fully expected at least to havea Dev come around and promise a commitment to having a "draw" for our cantinas, if there was to be a lag between BF's removal and the new "draw" implementation.
Any Dev visit, or info from the Devs is greatly appreciated.
I was very much hoping for more from this patch, because particle effects and a new song aren't anywhere near adequate for the removal of a system so integral to Entertainers as Battle Fatigue.

I think the removal of BF is a mistake, why will anyone come to the cantinas to hear us entertainers. How will we make money?
I'm sorry but not enough come get the inspiration buffs to cover outfits and maintanance in most cases.
Also what is Musician getting, seems they are giving a lot of stuff to Dancers, and Musician is gettin the shaft which isn't too good.

Profession: Entertainer
- Added a New Dance - Bunduki (an interpretive dance from the planet on which the Teras Kasi fighting style originated) - I liked this
- Added a New Song - Swing - I loved this, as did the rest of "Leno and the Invisibles" (the band that was performing in NU this evening)
- Add new particles to the old healing branch - generally went down well, Panthu seemed to love color swirl.
- New dance particles:
- Center Stage
- Color Swirl
- Dance Floor
- New music particles:
- Featured Solo
- Laser Show
- Fire Jet 2
- Battle Fatigue is no longer acquired and entertainers can no longer heal it. well, I think most of us have similar views on this, I can accept it going in the long run, but we need the compensation to go with it, not wait 6 months for it cause someone changed the timetable and delayed the new buffs, leave this code on TC until the devs have the new buffs would be my preferance (and if they say they can't - they can, they did it before with other stuff (like the entertainer theatre quests and LoS changes)
- Entertainer's and elite professions' skill branches have been reworked to accommodate these changes. replacement for Ent Heal xp is now Entertainer xp and seems to be linked to being listened to, just doesn't rely on having BF.
- Add NEW dance props to old healing branch
- Staff
- Sword
- Sparkler
- Glowstick
- Torch
- The above are entertainer crafted and certed, the ones below are all dancer certed and crafted. The first two work, all the rest turn the avatar invisible from most angles (this is both for performer and spectators, we have /bugged this of course and QA are aware of it, and importantly, so is the dev) (this also explains the band name above)
- Ribbon
- Double Ribbon
- Mystical Ribbon
- Double Mystical Ribbon
- Sparkle Ribbon
- Double Sparkle Ribbon
- Also, at novice dancer or higher, dancers can dual wield props. - nb, a musician using a nalargon or an omni can hold one, if they have dancer they can hold two, a dancer/musician can play other instuments and hold a prop in their spare hand.
Always a pleasure to meet a Tester.
BTW, I'm going to have to build a master musician on TC, not necessarily for this publish, rather just so I can join the TC community over there and be able to do some testing and reporting for the Entertainer community.
Although I still haven't written my full retirement speach announcing such, I have dropped my original profession of Master Musician (for good) on live now.
I will always be a master musician at heart and I plan to be one on TC (And perhaps another server some day).
I have to admit, when I saw that we could group droids in space, I jumped out of my seat (despite my dislike of some of the other changes), but then I realized that I am no longer an entertainer...
Anyway... I hope to be disappointed like that many more times in the future... if I get upset that I'm no longer and Ent, it should meant they're getting some love.

May the force be with you.
Battle Fatigue is no longer acquired and entertainers can no longer heal it.

So basically they are removing BF, and what they are adding is broke?
Why are they removing the Fizz, I like my Fizz ![]()
Bug: Entertainer skilltrees do not provide ability to inspire.
Investigation: I believe Seani said that the skillmod for inspirations was simply missing from the skilltrees, having gone away with the rest of the ent healing stuff. Twi'leks can still inspire at very low rates, presumably due to their racial bonus. I haven't found any ent-modded clothing to see if that would work also.
Bug: New song suffers same xp problem as other new songs introduced since launch, not providing double xp when more than one flourish is performed per tick.
Reproducible steps: Equip a slitherhorn. Do "/startmusic starwars1". Do "/flourish 1". Observe the amount of music xp granted. Do "/flourish 1; /flourish 2". Observe the amount of xp granted - approximately double the amount as when only one flourish was done. Do "/changemusic swing" (or western, starwars4, funk). Do "/flourish 1". Observe teh amount of xp granted. Do "/flourish 1; /flourish 2". Observe the amount of xp granted - the same as when only 1 flourish was done.
Bug: The Firejet2 icon has the messed up bouncy icon instead of a real icon.
Reproducible steps: Click on the Musician skill "Musical Techniques III" in the Skills UI. The icon appears in the "Commands and Abilities Granted" box.
Bug: Dancer flourishes require two command executions before they trigger the animation - the xp for the dance flourish still is granted.
Reproducible steps: Do "/startd basic". Do "/flourish 1". If the dancer does not flourish, observe the lack of flourish (but the granting of xp) that is the bug. If the dancer flourishes, wait for the dancer to finish flourishing, then do "/flourish 1" again. This time the dancer will not flourish (but xp is still granted).
Bug: Musician flourish animations only occur on every other flourish performed - the sound for every flourish still happens, but not the animations.
Reproducible steps: Equip a slitherhorn. Do "/startmusic starwars1". Do "/flourish 8" - hear the flourish, and (possibly) watch the player do the animation (leans forward with arms spread to either side). Allow the base-flourish to play for one measure. Do "/flourish 8" again - hear the flourish, but notice the character does not animate.
Investigation: This could be related to the dancer bug reported just above.
If ya'll are playing with the dancer props, there's also a (somewhat fun) bug that equipping any prop that has particle effects will cause your character to pretty much completely disappear.
