I know this is old news folks but its a fire that still is in great need to get stoked.
The Mando instrument really needs to be added to the Musician skill tree. Its a real shame that a MASTER musician cant use this instrument unless they have 4 boxes of ID and 4 boxes of dance. I mean come on. *rolls eyes*. I realize that something would need to be given to master entertainer to replace the loss, and im totally for that. how about something that ALL entertainers can benefit from?!? *gasp*
I think the ceremonial should probably be with musician as well but i could live with it only being master entertainer i suppose, although it would still be bizarre. How about this... How about duplicating the mando cert in both master entertainer AND novice musician. That seems to be the simplest solution i can think of.
Seriously tho folks, am i alone here on this? or are there others out there that still feel the same way?

I think moving the mando to the musician tree would only result in more bots playing my instrument of choice. The mando makes me stick out. With it, I am a rockstar.
The use of the extra skill points is inconvenient, however, I feel as though I've earned something special. Especially now with the timer on ID.

I'm sorry, but I'm an Entertainer, and the Mando is how people know. I am proud to be a Master Entertainer. If you want the Mando in MM, then also put the Nala in ME. Both instruments in both masteries. Then, perhaps I'd be willing to give up my unusuality.

As much as I would like to play the mando I think it should only be a master entertainers instrument and not a master musicians. It is the only thing that makes the master entertainer prof worth working on. I am a master musician so I skipped the compleat entertainers prof beforeI even knew about the mando. Leave it as it is, it works.

Well, as long as the Master Entertainer then gets a new
instrument (maybe a harp?
) and a new song, I could agree
with moving the Mandoviol and Ceremonial to the Musician
Tree...
You also can move the Dances out of Master Entertainer, and
give new never-seen-before ones to ME.
And how about some Hairstyles only doable by MEs?
Being a Master Entertainer is sign of dedication. The reward is
being able to play a unique instrument (and a unique dance). Keep
it this way.

Heck no!
I worked that extra bit to get master entertainer as well as master musician and I deserve to have a special instrument and song as a result of that!
If you are a master musician and want to play ceremonial or the mando then get out there and dance a bit and do some image design like the rest of us had to - it's not that hard you know.

Very interesting replies folks. Im a bit shocked actually. And just so we are clear, I am a master musician & master entertainer so ive got the song and the instrument. I just think its pretty silly that they are in master ent is all. But thank you for your feedback folks. i appreciate it =)

I agree that ID and Dancer needs better things for Master Entertainer. If Mando was replaced in Master Ent, as well as ceremonial, this would come up again in the future. I did the master grind through ID after the timer was added. Took me about seven hours to do it. I love to pull out my mando, its a badge of honor that i display proudly. I like being in the minority. Its a helluva feeling to know that i am one of the people who worked my ass of to get it.

I, too, think that the Mandoviol and Ceremonial should stay where they are. Unless another song/instrument was placed in the ME box to replace them. Also, one shouldnever underestimate the mighty bug stomping power of Footloose Deuce!

I'll have to /notSign also, but only because of the state of the game, and because I don't know what could go in there instead. I love standing out as a 'true musician' because I've devoted myself to ME, and the mandoviol and ceremonial are great ways to show that. On the other hand, I have to agree it doesn't make much sense, as a master musician should be just that, a master musician.
What I could understand would be an instrument that needed to be played with dancing. Now *that* would be kind of neat. Some kind of device that you wear or that encloses you (the dance would have to be non-drifty for the second option), that would make music based on the moves you do in your dance. Have anyone who listens to and watches you be granted a unique holoemote, and you throw a (admittedly small) bone to IDs, and thus touch all the elites.
But I don't to see any damn buffbots playing a mandoviol anytime soon. So for now, and without something to put there, /notSign.
