Thread: Musician Elite Faction Perks?

If you go to http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/manual_detail.jsp?id=58180and check out the most advanced base available, you'll note that one of the benefits to having this kind of base is that a musician that is registered (by which I take to mean, "has typed /register while in the base") and declared (by which I take to mean, "has gone overt") will receive elite faction perks.

I'm curious about this. Does anyone have such a base and does anyone know what the perks are?

Thanks.

Okay, for that matter, what does /register allow a musician, doctor, or dancer to do?

You can /register in most of the buildings that allow BF healing. It puts an icon by the cantina on the planetary map so people who want to check if there's an entertaining playing in a specific cantina can find out without actually going there to see.

I asked the very same question a long time ago and no one answered the post.

I 'd like to see if someone has any idea about it now.

Big whooop.. so you show up on the planetary map.... And that benefits me as a musician how? Most people choose to to fight on certain planets and cities because of missions they take, or faction, NOT because there is a musician registered on the map..

So what are the faction perks for being an overt member playing in a base? do you get faction points for playing like you do with music experience? Probably not, but I don't see what other perks would be available to want to make a musician go overt..

Perhaps this would be a good question for our representative. Is there a way to contact him or her via email or in-game messaging?

I think if any musician or dancer is brave enough to go overt and play, they should be eligible for the faction perk bonus without having to go to a faction base. Would be cool to see a bunch of overt musicians in corilla / theed.

btw, i'm pretty sure it refers to the 25%(?) increase with buffs and healing to other faction members.

I tried this. As a master musician, I was only able to buff my associate's secondary mind stats to 2x their baseline value. It is possible that my failure is due to him not being overt.

I'll try to confirm this later tonight.

I am able to confirm that buffing a declared rebel, while declared and registered, does not augment the secondary-stats mind buff given. The buff remains 2x baseline.

Our representative is encouraged to pose this question to Thunderheart.

Okie, your representative will be happy to bring this question to the devs. I'll let you know what I learn.
