Musician Archive

This is the third day I havent been able to play music....everytime I try it tells me "you must wait a moment before playing another song" or something similar.

Iam doing holocrons right now and Iam 100k xp or so away from master, that means Ive given up alot of my other skills to get points enouge for the musician profession, so other than play music right now my char is totally useless.

Ive contacted CSR and the sendt me a standard message that Ithey were sorry bla bla bla..and that I had to wait for the devs to fix it with a update.

A guy called CSREthanN from the chat channel was very kind and logged in and tried to help me but there was nothing he could do.

I was just wondering if Iam the only onecause I havent meet anyone else with this problem...and if they maybe know how to fix this ?

I've had this problem for several weeks now. I've opened up several bug reports on it already. I haven't tried logging in today since they did the big publish.

Well Iam not just gonna wait for them to get around to this bug. Iam paying to play this game and I havent been able to play these last 3 days.

Something similar happened to a dancer named KitiraMoonlight 4(?) weeks ago, could not dance anymore for 2 weeks. At first the CSR's seemed to be unable to help (or did not care). For what it looks, the dancer correspondent Ravenmist finally managed to get some devs looking at it and a CSR fixed it in the end.

I feel for you two. I haven't even heard of this bug.

ive had this bug on my character on Brai for 2 whole months. In turn i have had to go dancer instaed of musician....its really annoying. I have sent many bug reports and i even chatted with a CSR, but nothing has happened. I feel for you!!!

I've asked the devs about this and will continue to ask until I get an answer.

Oh man, that stinks. I will pester the devs about this until we get an answer. They probably won't read my messages about it until Monday, but I'll stay after them. Hang in there in the meantime.

Only bad thing bout it is that I need healing xp heheheh, but for those with the same bug its a great idea...thanks =)

OK here is one thing you can do till you are fixed. I hear you get music exp for crafting horns. You may wanna do that. Not sure how good the exp will be. But my holo tool me Master Musician also. I dont really wanna say what I droppeed for it. But lets just say that the last line in my skill tree took well over 300 hours. and an awffiull lot of shuttle trips. But this may help you get some exp wile you get things fixed.

To bad we cant craft craft while we play. And get this over with lol

Still working on this issue. Do you have any other details that might possibly be relevant to tracking down the bug?

From what I gather, the players reporting this bug all had it before the most recent big patch (the one with mounts and Cities) -- so it wasn't brought on by this latest patch, right? Also, it just flatly stops you from playing any instrument, ever, anywhere, anyhow? Did you notice anything unusual happen before it kicked in? Can you join a band and /startmusic?
