I've had this problem for several weeks. Here's what I've tried. The messages below are from memory. I'm not near my game pc right now. It doesn't matter if I'm grouped or not.

/startmusic - You must wait a moment before starting another song.

/stopmusic - You are not currently playing a song.

/changemusic - You must be playing a song before you can change.

I became a master dancer while waiting for this to get fixed. I've noticed if I'm in a group and I'm not doing anything, I'll animate like I'm playing music after a few minutes. I'm unable to flourish when this happens. I also do not gain xp or loose action.

I've tried /startmusic with every instrument equipped except the Omnibox and Nalargon. I've also attempted to play every song except jazz and virtuoso.

I just typed /stopmusic about 20 times. It didn't help. I also setup a /stopmusic macro to loopevery second for 5 minutes. I still can't play music. Thanks for the suggestions. Hopefully it will be an easy fix for the devs.

Hmm, okay, thanks. Back to the drawing board. I'll keep after the devs on this.

I bumped by thread on this in the Correspondent forum today. Will keep you posted.

My bug heppened when the server crashed. I logged back in and has a small roll back on my char. I also were still leader of an entertainer group but I could not c that and I could not be buffed cause I was already buffed, but I could not c that either.

I then logged out again because I could not play music and I wanted to wait to after server down to log back in, hoping that would fix it.

When I logged back in after server down my char didnt have the roll back anymore but i could still not play music.

OK, the devs think they may have come up with a fix, and I'm hoping it will be hotfixed very soon. Keep your fingers crossed, and let me know if it is indeed fixed.

I give up getting the Entertainer xp from dansing...I get max 38 healing xp whn Iam in a maxed group.

I need musician so i can get the 100 xp I used to because Iam getting nowhere with dancing.

Please tell me the devs have fixed this, or someone can just make me master musician so I can get outta this bug hell

No hotfix went in today, Maalon, but I'm really hoping we'll see one this week. Hang in there a little longer, and let me know if anything changes.

When I first tried it I still go the error message. I had to do /stopmusic a few times in a row to get it working.

Great news! The hotfix is indeed in. Everyone else with this problem, make sure you spam /stopmusic. <continues to keep fingers crossed>
