Fragpuppie was kind enough to get the stuff together on TC-Gorath to make a City Hall!

Musician's Folly, Rori is located about 2000m Southeast of Last Blizzard Hope, Rori at -811 1939.

We need 10 people to drop houses and declare residence within 24 hours, or the city hall goes poof.

TC-Gorath just went down, but whenever it comes up or you're interested in dropping a house to help test stuff, do an /addfriend Warryyr on TC-Gorath, or send starsider.warryyr a /tell when you're ready to place a house (i have to grant you zoning rights in Musician's Folly).

Please be sure to use a Character Builder Terminal or "bluefrogs"in Theed Naboo, straight out from the Theed spaceport entrance, to get a Small Naboo house or Generic planet house to drop in the city (use the Deeds option), and grab a bunch of credits to put in the house - wouldn't want that maintenance to run out!

We're hoping to get plenty of people in the city, to test the Jukebox in a cantina.

I will be online tonight on Starsider, and tomorrow after 5pm EST on TC-Gorath (if the server is online). Either see if I'm online on TC-Gorath, or send me a /tell on Starsider by using /t starsider.warryyr in order to get your house dropped!

Thanks for helping out, folks.

All we really need is 2 more people taking a BUNCH of time to load all 3 chars you are allowed. I'm working on the second one now.

Where are you Warryyr?

I think I need you to grant me rights also....even though I built the thing.

Yep we can make 3 characters each, so each person who helps will help a LOT.

We'll get enough folks to drop a cantina in no time, if folks make 3 characters each. Credits and deeds are free, as are Swoops and everything else.

So come on out to Musician's Folly, Rori folks!

I am now a proud citizen of Musician's Folly on TC Gorath. At check after declaring residency, there were 13 citizens. So, the city is stable.

Sweet, thanks for your help, folks!

And thanks for the tip about open zoning rights! It must be set that way by default, since no one's had to get zoning rights for me. That's fine, as we're all on pretty different schedules and I want anyone who'd like to drop a house be able to.

We're at 13 citizens! That's wonderful! Now, we just need 20 citizens to get the place cantina option - I believe.

Unfortunately, the next city update isn't for 6 days and we'll have to see if TC-Gorath hangs around that long, but anyone and everyone who'd like to come out and help has plenty of time to do so! Just 7 more characters need to join the city, and we're almost there. Even if you don't intend on testing on TC-Gorath, just coming by and dropping a house would help a lot, heck make 3 characters on TC-Gorath and drop houses with them all, and declare residence.

Handy tip: To save on city build zone space, and to make it easier for you to find a spot in the city, learn Merchant 0/4/0/0 (that's Efficiency 4, by the way - and Novice Merchant requires Artisan 0/0/4/0) from the Character Builder, and you can then drop a Merchant Tent! Merchant Tents are available on the Character Builder Terminal under Structure Deeds. You can declare residence in there, just like a regular house! And, they only take 1 lot, in case you're using your lots for testing.

Well, I just tried to log in with my (regular) Gorath char - Isshoro the Wookiee - but got stuck at the Connecting to Galaxy screen...

I'll try it again either later today or tomorrow

you know you can have open zoning right? no militia needed, no mayor needed just drop a house and declare...my PC was set like htat for a couple months...had me scared to death that some griefer would drop his house in front of City Hall but we're closed zoned finally. Its on the city terminal somewhere in the options.

The frogs in Theed are straight out from the starport entrance, towards the shuttleport that's right by Theed spaceport. Just look for all the people standing around.

But you've got me thinking Warr..maybe weshould considera controlled environment modelto do regular testing in. TC is somewhat static and its diversity is great for testing a patch from the perspective of a full system.I suspect we're going to be seeingsome pretty big changes coming up and I'd likefor us to test the hell out of them to make sure they roll out as flawlessly as possible. I'm thinking in terms of what we need to do now to have a solid little fishbowl to work in a few months down the road. Well..just has my brain humming along...
