But you've got me thinking Warr..maybe weshould considera controlled environment modelto do regular testing in. TC is somewhat static and its diversity is great for testing a patch from the perspective of a full system.I suspect we're going to be seeingsome pretty big changes coming up and I'd likefor us to test the hell out of them to make sure they roll out as flawlessly as possible. I'm thinking in terms of what we need to do now to have a solid little fishbowl to work in a few months down the road. Well..just has my brain humming along...

Great idea!

We should establish ourselves with characters soon, so we can test like we want to.

I know New Unity is a pretty big place for entertaining, but we might even consider starting another city for ourselves. Live Entertainer's Haven, perhaps. Something clever, I don't know - my heads all screwed up from getting so mad earlier.

Yes. Please do come to TC, build up characters there, and help us test things as they come.

Having a few of our forum regulars come out to help with buff testing of the simultaneous buffing was the only reason we were able to catch the problems that we did... even late in the game. That experience made me really wish we had more of our knowledgeable and skilled ent players there ready to tear into testing as needed earlier on in that process. We need your expertise to make sure our stuff is working right!

If there is a movement to create an entertainer city on TC for ent testing purposes, I'll be right there to declare residency. I'd love to see more of you getting involved with this stuff!

Yes! Please please set yourselves up on TC for testing. The more we have there, the better .
And it need not take away from your regularly scheduled playing time much - the last time I was on TC, I was there for only about 10 minutes before I noticed several issues.
I'll be happy to setup residency in any Entertainer city we set up , but I'm sure New Unity would be very welcoming as well.

Pfft! If it's something that you'll max xp and training on in 5 minutes again, then yes. And not just for testing, but for the fun of watching you squirm.

He retrained an entire profession voluntarily... he obviously doesn't consider one box much trouble...

I'm in too. I have 3 chars up on TC already. The only problem of starting a city is dealing with the costs of starting one. It was easy with the frogs. Also maintaining it is not cheap.

If enough entertainers get on board with this idea, and really show up to test, we corresmight be able to do something about that. No promises, but we can ask.
