Thread: Correction...We've GOTTEN Inspiration buffs on TC

OK so here are some bullet points.

  • JUST ADDED An icon appears when "inspired" but disappears when performing.....therefore it seems that we will not get an inspiration bonus while performing. The Bonus is 10%

  • You get Ent healing XP for doing them...looks like 10 per tick per person being inspired

  • They are COMPLETELY passive and other than the XP, you do not know you are giving one. The XP is a good sign cause there is really no other way to get ent heal XP.

  • You INSPIRE YOURSELF

  • you get XP for INSPIRING YOURSELF

  • At Music 2 (entertainer) I did a full 3 hour inspire in 360 seconds (5 minutes of added inspire for each tick)

  • The person being inspired, including self inspiration, gets a system message at each tick informing of the inspired duration level (the message is to the person inspired only).

  • There is a system message when you reach your maximum inspiration duration. (to the person inspired, not the entertainer unless its self).

And to all those people who said "oh ya we'll get it eventually" lemme just say "I told you so" and "read the posts like I do, with a fine tooth comb".

Additional points.....

  • If you watch a dancer AND listen to a musician it takes half the time (3 minutes instead of 6)

  • Only the person being watched or listened to gets the 10 EHXP per tick, NOT the group.

  • The 10 XP ends when the inspire hits max duration

  • XP bonus seems to be for combat ONLY. I do not get music bonus or crafting bonus...still need to test medic and scout.

Still testing...will advise.

when you say combat, is it combat and weapons both?

Thanks for these results, Frag! I haven't had a chance to get on TC5 yet (we'll see if I can hold myself back so I don't oversleep for my really early doctor's appointment tomorrow). Sounds pretty interesting .

Oh, and tester tip: make sure you don't build up duration you don't want, it makes testing a pain. These things build up fast, so just get in enough ticks to get you through whatever test you are doing so you can go back to unbuffed when you are done.

Also, a medic testing tip: don't do combat, just heal a group mate.

Has anyone tested the whole "get buffed, come back later still buffed, get added duration to the buff" thing?

I think we're supposed to be allowed to dothat - no more waiting until the buff runs out to rebuff, now we can just add to the duration.

Yup, that's working perfect as far as I could tell. It's reeeeeally nice.

/sarcasm on

Is it me but does it even more simplify our life as entertainers as it is?

/sarcasm off

Let me sum up what I heard (read) so far:

* no more group xp, making it harder to get at all? Or does grouping xp still work and you get an extra when someone listens?

* doing "free" buffs all the time (even less income)

* only bf healing left instead (for mastering 4 full trees are needed, 6 if doing both masters)

On the good side... no spam anymore from AFK-bots... It's not needed to group, /setperform or actively do things.

OK couple more bullet points....

  • Faction has been checked and works for bonus

  • As stated before, medic does get bonus.

  • If you log off, all accrued inspiration time STAYS. I was logged out for hours and came back to still have a full 3 hour buff in place.

Group XP is still a factor for entertaining expierience and BF healing XP, just not for the 10 EH XP per tick you get for each person you are providing inspiration buffs. Music and dance XP appear to be same as before the CU withgroup, listenerand /clap bonuses. EH XP seems to be the same for BF healing, but with the added buff EH XP.

* doing "free" buffs all the time (even less income)

As is currently implemented....yes

* only bf healing left instead (for mastering 4 full trees are needed, 6 if doing both masters)

Again, yes, as currently implemented

lol but the spam is still there "watchme and I'll inspire you" or"please tip for inspiration" etc......

Combat seems to be weapon and unarmed, but the combat XP seems to still be 10% of the weapon or unarmed number so it gets the 10% also.

Well I tried scout XP and it did not seem to be giving a bonus (no sys message). Trapping had no sys message either. Medic MAY get a bonus, but the sys messagemay befor the combatXP and may not be for the medic XP.

All those others need testing I guess.
