Well,

Appearently he is the only who CAN make it on your server (thats a lot of playing to get that lvl so quick).

So, that asking price is perfectly acceptable. When supply gets closer to demand it will even out.

And, in my opinion, 3k for a fanfar isn't a bad price. It takes a novice musician to make one of those, and is guaranteed to last you forever.Idon't know what the resource requirement is, but thatmay also bea factor.

yes it could be a resource thing. thats what I was thinking, but I was not sure. I might pick one up soon, if the god of tips are kind to me.

On my server, i am the only one who is currently a musician, and the most popular entertainer.and i sell fanfairs on bazaar for 3k also, no, its not bria =). First of all, it was indeed a Bi'otch getting to novice musician, and second of all, the resources needed for a fanfair are around that of bone armor. Its crazy trying to get these things. Im sure as soon as more people can make them, the price will drop a bit, not much tho. but hay, by then, i will be selling omni boxes, the only person close to making fanfairs other then me is my partner musician, who is at level 3 musicianship and level 3 entertainer.

I am on the Lowca server and I searched several times a day, everyday for just a Fizzz. Could not find one on the bazaar even when I selected Galaxy. Only Slitherhorns. So, when I was able to make a Fizzz, first thing I did was go outand get the resources and make the thing to sell. I didn't charge such an outrageous price as 3k though. I charged a mere 700cr, but there were also slitherhorns available for 500.

I made about 10 of them so far, put a few on the bazaar, and they sold very fast. So, I put the rest of them up and they sold just as fast.

I think it is supply and demand, as well as the resources it takes to make. And if your the only supplier, well if you can get that price...so be it.

Just curious as to how you know if you're the "first" or "only" musician on a server... Is there a /who type of a command that you can pull up that shows levels, like in EQ or something? I didn't do beta, so am still learning the interface...

There is no positive, but im pretty **edit** sure. I have friends that travel to every planet to hunt and explore, they have yet to see one, i have also searched. I ask every single person that comes into my cantina (which is a good 100-200 a day that i talk to, no one has heard of one or seen one. I have only seen one person even close to me, they were off by two skill levels, so i made them my partner in the band. I posted it on my server's forum, no one else has heard of it, i posted it in the bazaar, still, no one heard of it. If there was another out there, the only way they could possibly get to novice musician is to play for people, a Lot of people. So somone would know about you. Many times have people walked into my cantina and said Hay, ur Droggo, my friend told me to come listen to you, he says ur the best of the best (a little exagerated, or however u spell it =) So, if there was another one, somone would have known about him, Musicians cant be hidden in a cave, or live in secrecy, for they would never get anywhere =)

Btw, if u know of a /who or somthing like that, please, post it here, cause **edit** that would be useful, i tried to find somthing like it on help, but their stupid /help command is so large that it cuts itself off..../sigh

I don't know of a who command either. But even if there was, I'm sure it wouldn't display that this person is the highest person in their profession. There are 10 planets out there. I'm sure if you think your the highest, there is one that is a bit higher. Not everyone can travel everywhere and see everyone.

Wow, 3000
On Eclipse, we sell Fanfars for 800 and Kloo's for 1000 (I dont want to undercut my original teacher) Me and the other few musicians i know have been selling them at this price. I usually look at instruments available on the entire galaxy and try to set prices accordingly.

I still need to take a trip all over the galaxy and spread my wares and my name around.

3000 seems way overpriced. I sell fanfars for 750 and kloo horns for 1000. Fanfars only require 55 metal, and kloos require 40 wood and 15 metal. I don't think 55 credits per resource is fair at all. I thought even my prices might be too high. There's another musician on my server selling kloo horns for 900. I'd just wait a while until you see some fair prices.
