3000 does seem pretty high to me too. There's three of us on Eclipse (Darla, Li'le, and myself) and we're all selling for around the same price as Darla mentioned.

Why buy a instrument? The only thing you need to buy is a generic crafting tool. and a meneral surveying tool.

By the time you need a new instrument you will be able to make your own. However it is up to you. I just take alot of pride in the face im playing a instrument I made myself.

This becomes much more important at novice musician. Suddenly, the schematics are going up one branch (tech), and the ability to play them up another branch (knowledge). For instance, I was playing in Coronetthe other day waiting for Teqi to hit Tech 3 so she could make a bandfill that I could play when I hit Knowledge 2 a few minutes later.

As far as the crafting tool, I would recommend getting a 'weapon, droid, and generic item crafting kit' instead of the 'generic crafting kit'. You can make all instruments with the weapon kit, but only the first 3 with the generic kit.

im on the ahazi server...as far as i kno theres only about 5-6 high level musicians here including myself. we sell fanfars and kloo horns for 1000-1500 each. They usually get grabbed up pretty quick...and ur absolutely rite..the cost to make it is not very signifcant but the thing is...the demand is high rite now and a price is not set by us...it is set by the players. 3000 may be high to sum people but it may be the right price for others..especially since the server u are on do not have many high levelers

Master_Droggo what you are looking for is the community page, or CTRL+P. When you open it up, you will see several tabs, one of them allows you to search for other players, based on a variety of filters.

Come look me up on Bria. I sell up to the Bandfill and Chin Horn, and do not charge these kind of prices, even though I am one of 2 people on the server who can make them. I think it is absolutely rude for people to set the price at the bazaar cap just because they think they are the first to make the item. Trust me it won't last long. Supply and demand will take effect, it's simple economics.

I can get you a nice Fanfar cheap, probably around 300 credits unless the market has dropped again. Gotta stay competitive. I will beat any price you find out there.

Apprentice Performer - Bria Server

I am a novice musician on intrepid, Tatooine, bounce around between Bestine, Wayfar and Anchorhead. From what I can see on the Bazaaar I am the only one atm making kloohorns and fanfars. I only ask for 1500 for fanfars and 2000 for Kloo horns. But I am also an artisan, eng III and Dom III.

Kloo horns take 40 wood and 10 metal

Fanfars take about 50 metal

Both of which is really easy to get.

I am currently before another resource refresh able to find a good source of wood at 97% and can sample a few hundred in 30 minutes. Thats why I am able to sell them cheaper.

But your right supply and demand always is a factor.

Btw experimenting has no effect on the instrument. But if your on Tatooine and want an personalized horn. Give /tell bogak and I will hook you up.

Hoping to be able to make the Tazz soon as well....So stay tooned. If I am not only check out the bazaar and look under Misc, instrument I have a few there already.

My life for an edit button. I ment only one on Tatoonie atm. (from what I can tell) if there are others they arent even selling them on bazaar.

And as combition increases prices will go down. there are a few people making them on Corrila and another planet and I tried to set my prices to match.

I see mandovials and higher instruments sell for 2500-3000 on Tarquinas... but a Fanfar? There will be someone else to that level soon enough, I would just wait until they come down, I doubt it will be long.

Don't know if someone is still selling fanfare 3k, but I sell them 600 on Wanderhome....

Most of the horn takes the same amount of ressources to craft, so I raise prices according to their order of apparition for an entertainer/musician.

I'd say you can get a free fanfar if you just ask someone in your band. You might have to pay for it, but 3k is asking a bit much.
