How about how long will this take if I play 2-4 hours a day and lots on the weekend? Thanks.

I play about the same amount of time and if you can keep playing music all the time then you might get a level each week, a level being all 4 boxes in the tree.

It also depends on who is playing with you, I get 27 xp together with another musician playing sw2 or folk but i get around 32 xp playing ballad on my own, both on the mandoviol.

Denisa you can get more XP if you play your highest instrument when you have to play the lower songs. Of course it's worth the XP hit to play Mando

As far as potential XP, you get the most for grouping with a lot of other players, especially if there are masters in the group. It doesn't matter what song you play as long as you play the highest level instrument.

I know sweety. I get 2-3 xp more playing ballad on a Traz, but I like how the Mando sounds

I like switching my instruments after playing a few songs and as I did this weekend when someone asked if I could make a instrument I would first play a song on it and ask how it sounds, hey I like to RP

But the most fun is when I play ballad on my mando then stop playing switch to my Traz and play ballad again and people start to ask what song is that ?

That's why I sometimes get very upset with people that ask if i'm afk, excuse me you've been watching me switch songs/instruments/clothes for 30 minutes and you think I'm AFK ?

Eh, going offtopic again, my point is the extra xp doesn't matter much to me, I rather have a fun night without a new skill then being frustrated having no fun and learn a new knowledge box.

Hey I hear ya, I do the exact same thing, but the original poster (I'm guessing) is just looking for the most efficient way to earn XP, and I don't know that he intends to really entertain.

But prove me wrong!

Denisa, like you I play at the keyboard. But in the defense of the audience, technically it is possible for you to do play, dance, change instrument, change clothes, put on effects, etc all whilst afk. So if you weren't actually talking to them I can still see how they would ask the question

I'm 90% sure that the skill level of the people in the group does not matter at least not for music exp, I still haven't figured out how ent healing exp works, playing sw1 having another party member switch instruments does not change the music exp/tick assuming the number of active performers does not change.

What a coincidence, because I'm 10% sure that it does!

I haven't tested it myself, but I had assumed that was the way it works, since it's been said so many times. I guess the root word of assume is the first three letters...
