And so, I looted my holo from a rebel surface marshall and, praying for it not to tell me to master dancer, I saw the stupid message - master musician. Oh, well =(

Now, I do NOT intend to insult people who enjoy this profession, infact I feel great respect for them, but, I hope you can understand that I'm not particularly happy about this. And, yes, I am grinding the xp 23/7 (excluding stupid internet downtimes, etc.) using just a usual afk macro, which does a flourish (flourish 1) every 8 seconds. Ergo, my first question is - can this be done faster?

I also have another macro which simply starts playing every 60 secs in case I run out of action or something.

I expect the question above to be answered by macroing powergamers and the like. However, the following question is addressed for all the dedicated musicians - do you guys still mind if I afk play in a cantina IF and only IF I have asked EVERY (non-afk) member of the group and received their UNANIMOUS CONSENT?

Forgot to mention - due to Internet breaking down for half a day I have only made Musician 0/1/2/2 in two days.

I for one, do not care of you play AFK. I don't, I just chat with friends on Teamspeak while I sit there in fron of my puter, so I would like to just hit the macro button once rather than realizing that my musician XP has stopped and it is time again to hit the macro button againI have a maco that is set to cycle through my flourishes, but I do not know how to make it start over. How do I do that?

migrate your stats for action secondaries to 850-900
that allows for non stop flourishes with no need for action heals
setup your macro to do 2 flourishes every 2 xp ticks
for the love of jedi do not put into your macro (heal me tip me)
Since your on Bloodfin goto Coronet and get into the groups there
afk macroers are sometimes kicked from groups to make room for live players
For the most part afkers are not a big issue IN game, its on these forums where the vocal minority complain about them. best guess is 90% of the entertainers go afk

Find a buddy who wants to AFK macro up in medic so you'll never stop for a lack of action HAM.

If you must (and I guess you must) grind the profession AFK.. please, pleae PLEASE...... do it in a cubicle at the back of the cantina. Not in with the other musicians who are trying to earn a living.

Take the few extra seconds and at least write all 8 flourishes into your macro.

What would the variety of flourishes change?

What exactly did you mean about those 2 flourishes? Like that: /flourish1;/flourish2;/pause16;?

no no, putting in the 8 flourishes will make it so that you don't drive anyone listening to you insane...

Don't follow this macro... Do instead :

/flo 1;/flo 2;/pause 10;/flo 3;/flo 4;/pause 10;/flo 5;/flo 7;/pause 10;/flo 8;/ui action toolbarSlot23;

This way you max your XP (best to have 2 flourish in a tick -tick = 10 s).

shaavik has the correct macro for max xp, just need to adjust the pause to suit your tastes.
it took me 3 days for migrating stats.
