Yeah, that sucks pretty bad, man.
I'm really sorry things ended up the way they did.
I guess I just hope that moving the instruments and stuff around means that someday instrument/song will have some bearing on what we do.
Not much else I can say but....yeah, that sucks.

...and then there's entertainers.
We used to need doctor buffs or food or an occasional heal...
We used to need a higher level musician to make our instruments...
We used to need other people listen to us to get healing XP and level...
We used to be able to get a 20 person group to get the best XP...
I guess we should be happy to still exist.

If you're a musician for anything other than wanting to play music, then you're just going to despise the class even more. If you really love the class, make due with what you've got. Otherwise, drop the skill and do something you feel is worth your time.
I do not contest that, and never have.
I just feel that ALL players of the game should get content that is balanced and ALL classes should have a role in the greater game.
so....
If all you love is combat and killing stuff then play a game that is worth your time and let the devs make this game what it is supposed to be....a mmoRPG.

I believe that we have the power to make this game what we want it to be.
To me, this is and MMORPG. My character has made a substantial living off of performing in player run casinos with bands. I have not done it through the idea of buffs. It has been all about how much I can entertain in a roleplay sense rather than what I can attain by 'buffing'.
True, but this isnt the issue.
I pay the same subs fee as any other profession-playing person. I am not a second class citizen, but I am being treated as one.
If you wish to accept the mantle of whipping-boy then be my guest, but I for one will not.
Should we not recieve the same amount of development time as any other profession? Yes, we should!
Are we recieving the amount of customer-care and development-time we are paying for and deserve? Not on your nelly!

The rangers and Squad Leaders are happy enough because they see what is happening to the Smugglers and Entertainers and don't mind being left alone until their time comes. This new "revamp by a thousand cuts" strategy is no good. Do it all at once, and do it right, and everyone would be a lot happier.

I rarely see the two classes. They're screaming for some attention too. Those are just off the top of my head.

What really bothers me about the props (at least the ones in Entertainer) is that there is no reason not to use the cheapest materials around, and no experimentation at all. I've always used really high quality material in my instruments. One, because it's fun finding the resournces, and two, because even if no-one else could see how good my instruments were, I though one day the devs might do something about it, and make my instruments sound better than the ones made with crap. Well, the devs did something, and yet again, it was everything we didn't want.
