For a guy who's wrong, I seem to be getting more Mando action than all of you. If that's wrong, then WHOO-HOO!

Er, you dropped your mind buff and all those instruments? I can see how the mando would illicit some envy, but no musician is jealous of a mere entertainer.

If you read his other posts its clear to see he is an uniformed bonafide troublemaker... Pay him no mind... I should not have even replied to him.
Master Musician already gets their own special instrument/song. The Nalargon and Virtuoso are very impressive, and respected as Master Musician items. If you give the Mandovial and Ceremonial to Master Musicians, why is there any point at all in becoming a Master Entertainer?

So you are at least willing to concede the Omni-box, the Nalargon, and the Bandfill. Ok, I can deal with that, now where does that put your high ground and superior reasoning?? So Musicians can entertain or not?? Seems silly to say that a musician or dancer (both ELITE professions of entertainer) cannot entertain. Music is entertaining, the instrument isn't, and what makes it entertaining is the fact that a musician is playing it, not that the musician learned to curl his wig and dance a jig. I guess Bethoven and Bach can't entertain though because they play the piano, not the guitar.
As for not having the Mando, who cares, I can't have the nalargon either since I'm simply a composer, I just hate to see the same worthless drivel repeated over and over again by you when you have no good sense to know that your argument is holier than a sinking boat. If you wish to continue beating your side, the least you could do is find an argument that is worth supporting. The I'm right, your wrong, its a bug crap that you keep continuing with is just that, crap. Maybe someday you will realize that you cannot sway people to your side without a least a little common sense.

That's the beauty part - I don't have to make sense, althought I quite plainly do. I am on the side of right, because I have the Mandoviol and you do not. The burden of making a good argument rests with you. You just can't say you want it and expect the entertainers to justify keeping it. So far your best argument seems to be an outdated description of Master Musician. That's not going to cut it, since clearly, the concept was changed after that description was written.
But if a sensible argument is what you seek, allow me to try this:
You have not come up with a single idea that would make Master Entertainer desirable. Not one. You've come up with ideas that YOU think would make ME a viable skill, but you have yet to come up with ANYTHING that has gained the endorsement of ME's. If you truly want to progress in this ridiculous campaign, work on that first.
1: Should the Master Musician know all the songs and instruments available and have all the toold to put on a professional performance?:
Tough one, on the whole I want to say no as I view the master entertainer as kind of a jack of all trades playing a folk style instrument whereas musicians are professionally trained musicians - but that is all in my head in the way I rp it. If anything I would say yes to more sounds for the existing instruments and leave it at that. Possibly yes to the instrument, but not to the song.
2: What is your career path in regards to Entertainment in-game?: Master Entertainer, Master Musician, Both or Other
Master Entertainer which to me means Master Musician, Master Dancer, Master Entertainer and lover of song I'm one of those rp types

But you fail to see that I don't see ME as enticing now or ever even with the song and instrument. I could really care less if ME is viable as a skill box. Personally, I think ME should be worthless, just as it was originally designed to be. Who really gives a **edit** about a single skill box when there are whole professions that are screwed up. I just come here to remind you that you are an idiot, I really care less about the argument, I just love to continually pull your chain. You've been an ass from day one, and continue to be one and I feel good pointing it out to you at every opportunity. See, while you continue to blow raspberries and shout, "I have it and you don't!" you still haven't proven your point either that ME is worth the rewards that it has. Quite simply I view ME's as jokes, and you doubly so. No effort, huge reward. But then again, you disagree, because you couldn't hack it as a real musician. Like I care.

I'm not sure there is a side.
Presently when doing parties, guild events, etcwhen Ceremonial is requested you simply have most MM's sittin out.
If yer ok with that its cool.
If you can, please try to understand the player type that wants to be a musician and why.
Frankly this argument is probably going the way of the dodo when we get more toys.
No side lad ,we are all on the same side
Some of us just feel a MM should be able to play an instrument he can craft. If you needed one made I'd certainly make you one.
This is compounded by the fact that we all need more tools to do our job.
Anyhoooo do what you will, post as you see fit.
Like it or not we are all brothers and sisters in the entertainment field
Our focus should be how to make us essential and enjoyed at events and parties.
As far as hunting and healing I'm much more needed with the ability to make a 4th level scout camp or a novice Ranger camp then doin someones nails or hair

All it takes is a quick glance through his posts in this thread to see that he is an antagonistwhois all about the age of 10.
