For those of you that might have missed it.
"The game is changing. There are changes being made that we can not control. Combat is the main game and always will be. I had hoped that we could make changes to preserve what I most love about Dancer: the frilly things, the dancing, the parties, so on. These things need to make sense in the greater game though. We need to understand where we fit in and changes will have to be made to our professions to keep them in the greater game.
Instead, it looks like changes will be made around us and not for us like I had hoped. Just because some people are too married to this idea of "passivity" and "boring spaces." *shrug* Changes to the game will be happening, but Dancers will be allowed to stay in empty Cantinas with nothing to do but amuse themselves for hours. Awesome. Great. It seems you may have won, Sirii.
What will these changes mean for me? I won't stay in a Cantina doing nothing hoping someone might come by for me to amuse while they get a passive buff. I'm sorry, I have access to chat rooms that cost less than $15 a month. I was always attracted to the pretty things about Dancer, but in the end, I am a gamer and I want a game. It is annoying to me that I can't use the dance emotes in the game or the character modification tools in the game if I don't also agree to basically pull out of the game in every way that counts.
Who cares if I can change my make up if I have no way to go out and play with others who will see it? Who cares if I am great at expressing myself with our fancy dance emotes if there is nothing to be expressive about? That's where we are headed. Locked in empty cantinas with these really cool player tools that no one will ever see. Pfft, no thanks."
I don't know what it is that Panthu has seen to do this. But doesn't look good...

I think when you come to terms with the fact that their standard operating proceedureis to straight face lie to us, then you will loss some of the anxiety waiting for answers and become cynical like the rest of us.
Case in point is a couple months ago when the client base was furious about bugs and the long delays to the CU and were leaving like fies to WOW and other games and the big announcement was that additional devs were added to the team to help fix everything. Now granted they did do some stuff to the ground combat game since then but the recent announcement of an expansion quickly solves the question of why most of the bugs are still here and why those devs were really added. Ask yourself this one question, how many of the bugs thatwe have lived withfor say a year have actually been fixed? Our biggest issue of afk and buffbots, a profession breaking plague, how long have we lived with that one and how long ago was it that they announced that a fix was coming? This recent announcement of an expansion has really really pissed me off.

Yikes!
That's not what we want to be hearing eh?

I think the exciting news that they forgot to tell us about is the new "Snappy" movement. Maybe they thought it would be exciting for us because we can move so well now. And dance the PacMan Fever dance or something that resembles the robot.

Ok, its more then I expected but I will withhold judgement to see if they work first.
Wish they could have killed bots. We just discovered a new one, the group leader bot. This thing has taken over the group in the Theed cantina from what I heard.
