To be fair these missions should pay out about 75% of what a Master <combat profession> mission would pay out.
For example:
Master Pistoleer takes 1000m mission to kill Squill lair (lets say this takes 5-10 minutes) and pays out 3500cr.
An equivalent Master Musician mission should take 15 minutes and pay about 2500-2600 credits.

Other suggestions for Mucisians/Fighters.
Have a Musician Missionin which you play for shady characters, this missions pays the same as a Combat mission, however, there is a chance that you wont get paid.
If you dont get paid, you have to "force" the customer to pay and if you defeat him you get the whole amount after you loot his corpse.
