Sorry FellStaff but there's an article on what is Lok? In fact those articles give some nice information about the planet : his history, his place in the saga, in the EU etc..

hop :

- soe9424 : "bug report ░ such as"

- soe5337 : "option;" "communtiy standards ░ harasment" "player░s"

- soe5324 : "your character must a suitable teacher" missing a "seek" or "find" in the sentence. Later on there's a little typo "trainers,"

- soe5000 : "click on the on the surrender button"

- soe4957 : Article about Skill Migration, the only problem is that it's STAT Migration =)

- soe4713 : The article starts with blank characters, so the first sentence is cut by the window.

Searched for "Gambling." No idea how toUSE a Gambling Table's radial option. Still no idea on Odds on Jubilee Wheels. How do I know what to bet on, since its gotta be a command line text entry, what are my limitations? One CSR told me to put colors in, another told me to put numbers in.

I still feel insulted by CSRBeverly who implied I was cheating for asking for Odds. David did you take her to a horse track and teach her how to bet? She needs some worldliness.

I thought maybe I could find something under Gambling under, Cantina, but only gotthree hits for Cantina and one was some goofy parental excuse by you for an Animelike nudity problem in SWG. I thought that was fixed with the dirtyup of the bodysuit sometime ago, what'sthis excusedoing in the KB? Don't make excuses guys, either put a filter inor don't. Listen to Yoda.

Good work on the KB, but I have noticed when I use the 'Has this info been useful' link on the web based KB it takes me back to the initial search page without a form to fill out just the question: 'Which type of search do you want?'

This is great overall! i have always wanted to know all the macro commands. Now i know. However it told me how to get them in game. It would be nice to tell me on the KB. Also the syntax of the commands if any. ie. /healdamage (self) (target) (any others). /createp short for /createprototype practice no item.

I noticed i was able to search some of them like /mailsave, but most came up blank.

What commands did you want more info on? Do you have a list of any kind?

For quick answers to many game play questions, you may want to first reference the knowledge base located in the Holocron Menu. You can do so by selecting the customer service option and then using the knowledge base tab. We have recently added hundreds of new FAQs and answers and more will be added more daily, so give it a try!

I searched /notepad and notepad and found nothing.

I searched mailsave and /mailsave and found:

soe9445: "The files will save as a .mail extension however changing them to a normal text document will make them accessible." (This seems unclear, making it sound like I need to do something to the file other than open it in Notepad.)

When I searched save mail I found:

soe8234: "The files are saved with the extension .mail but they are just regular text files that can be opened with any text editor such as Notepad." (This is a much clearer explanation and should be used for both. Also should both explanationspop up when mailsave or save mail are searched?)

I searched chat color and found among others:

soe8153: title-Can I order a pet to befriend another player?

The text reads: "Armorsmiths are able to fully colorize their armor without having to be tailors. The Armor Customization skill mod determines how many colors the armorsmith can pick from (note, some items may not have all colors available for selection. The available colors depends on the palettes used for that item)."

(Thus the text somewhat matches the search, but the title is mismatched to the subject.)

soe8923: "Through use of these kits, vehicle coloration can be changed by anyone; no skill is required."

I searched addfriend and /addfriend and found nothing.

I searched add friend (I was specifically trying to find something about adding cross galaxy friends) and found:

soe9502: SWG: Is it possible to add characters on other servers to my friends list?

Text: "No. Only characters on your same server can be added to your friends list."

(This answer is now incorrect.)

soe8867: SWG: If I give items to a friend to sell on their vendor, are they technically their items?

Text: "Yes. The moment the items are given to the friend, they are considered hers for purposes of determining ownership. They are under no obligation whatsoever as far as policies are concerned (unless an secure trade agreement has been filed). Please make sure you only give items to individuals you trust."

(This should read "a secure trade". But also, what the heck is "a secure trade agreement" between players that is "filed"? As a merchant who handles goods for others, I suggest taking the info between the parens out unless this is some new feature.)

soe6585: SWG: When I play with my friends they say I am ghosting and they cannot see me.

Text: "To fix this issue is to logout of the game for 10 to 15 minutes and then come back in."

(This should read either "The way to fix this issue is to" or better "To fix this issue, logout of")

soe8331: SWG: How can I tell if somebody else, like a friend, is currently online?

Text: "There is a check box in the area where you add their name labeled "* system message of online status and show in /friend" that when checked will give you a system message alerting you when they login our out of the game."

(Should read "log in or out".)

I searched harrassment and found:

soe8620: SWG: What is the Community Standards / Harrassment ticket category?

Text: "The best way to report a harassment situation is to use the /report <name> command to submit a detailed report of the situation for Customer Service to review and address as appropriate."

(I've noted in live this does not give you an opportunity to say anything about the situation? No interface seems to pop up...or is the command /report <name> <message>?)

Well, getting too many tells in game now to continue. More later.

Here is FREE assistance, CSRDavidF.

I searched for "Skill Tape". No it didn't list which tapes to destroy as feeble lootengine mistakes, which it should. How about clarifying which of these things modify actual skills and which modify makebelive skills and nerfed skills.

It doesn'tsay not to double up on theusefulskill tapes on the same wearable.

It doesn't say anything regarding the unfunctionality ofbackpack sockets.

In my attempt to do a search on the term "incap" the KBtool has frozen in its current form. Cannot stop search, or select anything other than close on the window. When I close it, and re-open the search appears to still be present and it is still frozen.

Can you send/recieve email?

Sounds like what happens when I get subrouted by my telco and my highspeed v92 compression gets squelched.

Did it work after a reboot?

I just wanted to stop by and say that we’re very thankful for all of the input we have received from the community. Over the last few weeks the Knowledge Base has seen literally thousands of new entries in every conceivable topic. Many of the best questions have come directly from these forums.

fficeffice" />

If you have not yet taken a look at the Knowledge Base I encourage you to do so. With Publish 7 (currently on ffice:smarttags" />Test Center and coming soon to a server near you) the Knowledge Base will be more visible with some User Interface changes that are going in. We also hope to further revamp the User Interface for the Knowledge Base in the next few publishes following 7.

If you have questions regarding game systems, even if you know the answers to those questions or think they are silly, please either post here or work with your correspondent to get those questions to us. The more information we can put in the Knowledge Base the more useful it will be for all of us. We are also interested in feedback on existing entries from typos to incorrect wording or information. Bring those to your correspondent as well.

Finally I want to stress again that the Knowledge Base is one of the items in Star Wars Galaxy that we can update and modify whenever we choose. If you see that the Knowledge Base doesn’t cover a topic, or covers it poorly, get your correspondent’s attention and we’ll look at it. Changes made to entries are instantly visible in game and on the web site.

The link to the knowledge base out of game is http://station.sony.com/kb or you can find it in game by opening your Holocron (CTL H) and clicking on the Customer Service button in the lower left.

For quick answers to many game play questions, you may want to first reference the knowledge base located in the Holocron Menu. You can do so by selecting the customer service option and then using the knowledge base tab. We have recently added hundreds of new FAQs and answers and more will be added more daily, so give it a try!

No offense but why are your paying customers being requestedto check your work for errors?

Correct me I am wrong but I am sure SOE pays someone to do this?

We're doing plenty of error checking I assure you. The main focus of this thread and others like it is to come to the community and get feedback on what areas of the Knowledge Base need more information in order to be usefull. This thread contains a lot of "fixes" and I'm really grateful for the players that found the text errors and helped us correct them. But the main focus has always been to fill the Knowledge Base with the best information we can, focused on the needs our customers express.

The KB has been around a long time... People just didn't know it was there.

It used to contain mundane information that could be found in the holocron anyway. It also had many empty articles or could not find any matching entries for rather simple requests. Lets face it, it sucked whether people knew it was there or not. I'll be glad to give it another go and see what it contains as I have a lot of queries to give it.

Does anyone know if its a free-form question you submit or single words searches?
