Here's an idea for the Master Entertainers:

Invite the buffbot, then /changeband ceremonial (or during a break /startband ceremonial)

If the bot is only a master musician, it won't be able to make the change and will presumably stop playing.

Since June 2004, running one of the game's first completely nonviolent characters. Testing the limits of non-combat MMORPG play and trying to have fun into the bargain (although the developers make it difficult).

Combat is no longer compulsory.

I think the best revenge you can do to any Buffbot is to be a Master Image designer and change their looks totally!!!

It cracks me up everytime I enter a Cantina, and I see a fat & old AFK buffbot. Because you just know some evil master ID fooled around with them.

Actually, should I even say "evil master ID"??? Shouldn't they be called Saviors of the Entertainer Profession? They are embarassing and making fun of root of the death-to-entertainers.

(o.O) --- Huh!? What happened?
(x.X) --- I'm dead
(^_^) --- LOL !!!

LOL. Oh man! It would be worth getting Master ID just to do that.

Unfortunately you cannot ID people who are Afk. You can SUGGEST changes, but they still have to accept them.

And before you start grinding up ID, which is a VERY long road, you still need to have someone at their keyboard to accept. You cannot macro ID acceptance currently.

1) Most of the time, the players line up around the buffbot because it is an impersonal way for them to get a buff, and requires almost no player to player interaction, and most of the time they can get it for free. The only real time i've been tipped for being a musician and not buffing is when i've gotten into a pissing match with the buffbot's supporters (i usually win, what do i care if a templater doesn't go to me for services?).

2) Most of the time, the ATK musicians are directly competing with the AFK musicians... and losing. Though i could see the benefits of having a buffbot on when there are no ATK musicians, like at 3:00 AM. But make no mistake: players seek out the buffbot before they'd think to look for an ATK musician, regardless of if that ATK musician is right next to the buffbot.

on your 2nd point there warcry..theres a reason that people pass the ATK entertainer up and go to the bot...yet no where in the forums do i see the ATK's address this. Its obvious the bots offer something you dont..if its free buffs then why are the bots making money hand over fist? some of the richest peops out there now are the bots..so its obviously not the free buffs. then what could it be? any ideas?. i would like to hear a logical answer for this question before i lend my support to the ATK's

the buffbot 90% of the time will join your group and not be able to group with others..

Hehehe.. I would actually get quite a chuckle if anyone tried this on my ATK musician or dancer.

I'd be sure not to answer when they sent their warning, and then explain the error of their ways once they had begun the griefing process. Followed by a loving report to the CSRs on the details of the activities. It's rather doubtful much would happen but all it takes is one CSR in particularly foul mood to bring an end to these hi-jinks.
