I would like to know the commands for flourishing all the instruments in a band, if you wish to flourish OTHER people's instruments say all the fizzes what are the commands for each?

The full syntax is as follows:
/bandflourish flourishNumber instrumentName
with an example being:
/bandflourish 3 fizzz all fizzzes do flourish 3
However, this can be shortened a lot to the following syntax:
/b flourishNumber firstLetterOfInstrumentName
such as:
/b 4 o all ommni boxes do flourish 4
With the following exceptions:
Fanfar and fizzz both start with the letter f, so you must use fa or fi for them to work. (although f may go alphabetically to fanfar, I'm not sure).
You can use the /bandflourish command for instruments you are not playing. This is how to control the flourishes on a musical droid. (I recently used this to find out that the droid belonging to someone in my group was playing the ommni box rather than the bandfill, much to my gleeful surprise ).

Okay, next question what is the command line syntax for flourishing different instruments on different flourishes simultaneously?

For instance:

Timmy is a band leader of a band with 2 fizz players, 2 omn players, 2 mandeviol players and 2 nalargon players

Timmy has everyone play rock and wants to combine some sounds for a Phillip Glass like experience.

He signals his Fizz players to do flourish 5 while simultaneously telling the mandeviols and nalargon to do flourish 8

What is the command for this?

Does he do a bandflo for everyone and then quickly type during the flourish:

/b 5 fi enter

/b 8 m enter

/b 8 n enter

Knowing that at the start of the next flourish the omin players will play a base flourish while the fizzes do flourish 5 and the Mandeviols and Nalargons do flourish 8?

or is there a way to string the /b 5 fi together with the other 2 on the command line?

You've got the basic idea. I'm not sure what you mean with the initial 'a bandflo for everyone,' as you can initiate the multiple bandflos during a base segment.
To combine the bandflos on one 'line,' you can use semi-colons, which can help you get in all the bandflos together. So your example would become:
/b 5 fi;/b 8 m;/b 8 n [enter]
One caveat though, I believe the 5 flourish limit can come into effect, as I was having some problems once when controlling many instruments. So, if you create a situation where your band has 6 instruments you want to bandflo at the same time, I believe it's at least the case that you can't do them all yourself. You *may* be able to have 2 bandleaders and just split the work between them, but I'm not sure if someone else doing a bandflo that's not your instrument will become part of your own queue.
I know that's not worded the best, so if you need more info on that, let me know.
