Much as Finra said, I finished my quests in Coronet Starport.
"Hello there, my theater manager said I needed to promote myself. Could you watch my dance and give me a little feedback? I'm trying to work my way up to learning some new moves!"
And sure enough... it worked and people were actually really helpful.
*looks around, astonished*
What's happend to SWG?
The only sad thing was.. whenI received the dance I went back to Coronet to thank the people who had watched me. No one seemed very impressed with the new dance. *raises eyebrow*

The mojo worked great! I logged in, talked to a lot more audience and had 3 flourishes to use and one not to use. I wasat unsatisfied and neutral for what seemed like forever, I kept thinking it was about to fail me. I finally reached satisfied and had to wait forever with adrenylin pumping hoping it would end soon. And finally it did. The song is really pretty cool. At first I was a little unsure, but as I listened, it quickly grew on me. Especially with bass acompanyment.

Rockn - Doh! The power cord was a little loose in the Positive cosmic mojo machine. But i fixed it, you should be good to go now!!!

Fixing the power cord did the trick. I got my sheet music last night! Thanks for the boost!

For my promotions, I stood by the ticket collector in the Coronet starport and did some light spam everytime I saw a new group come in.
I had the same response - everyone was happy to listen, and some were curious about the quest. Others didn't even hear the spam and just started listening and thanked me for providing entertainment.
One thing I did that had the effect of /telling people to listen to me. As someone would start listening, I would say "Thanks for listening, Rekro!" and little smiley faces and such. This usually had more people join in to listen than the spam.
That system message is pretty handy!
So overall, I enjoyed the promotion part.. I think in the future they need to make it a tad more unique, otherwise we'll be the next thing to be ignored by other players

I managed to do the whole thing in about 3 hours today.
For the part that I needed to get people to listen to me for, I went to Coronet and stood outside the starport, /tell'ing the people that were standing about what I was doing and asking them to listen to me. Each time I ended up with a little crowd that stayed just to listen. One person had never heard SW1 on the mando before and asked me if it was a new song.
For the audience parts, I must have got flukey. The first one they told me what song and one flourish, but not which they didn't like. For the second they told me a song, one flothey liked and one they didn't. And for the last one they told me two songs and three flourishes, but not the one they didn't want.I played the songs and flourishes they wanted, adding in a few flourishes, and managed to get them all satisfied.
I love the new song. Can't wait to play it in a band.

I followed Sultrina here, make a hotkeybar for Performing.
Top Row :Flo 1-8. 4x Effects
Bottom Row: Make Macros for each Dance/Song, i did mine for Dance:
Example:
/changedance formal;
/startdanceformal:
You get an error message for the non-applying command, but who cares,
the button startsa Dance, ANDchanges to the Dance if you are alreadydancing.
You should have no problems with this setup.
I madethose Macros for all Dances and load up the Bottom Bar accordingly.
Even for Cantina work, changing to another Dance, do the right Flo, and change back
is quite effectful, especially with the Flourishes for exotic spread over 4 Dances.
