Why not make it SWG only so I dont have to type Star Wars Galaxies every time?

The Knowledge Base is Star Wars only in game but on the web site it is a tool for all of the SOE games.
As far as direction goes we're mainly looking for content right now. I've been working with the Correspondents to highlight any weak areas. I suggest that you check out any topics that you feel passionate about and see what's in there. You may be suprised at the content.

Are the "Professin Forums" something new that I'm not seeing or were you referring to the Profession Forums? /duck
With Thunderheart out this week you really have to give us something more challenging to torment you with than this!
soe6545 – I’m not sure if this answers the problem listed. The question is “My badge is not appearing after I complete a quest.” Answer is “Open your character window and then click the Personal Tab to see your badges.”
Soe9243 – Question reads “Is there any way for a Jedi to gain.” This question should probably have something to do with disguises based on the answer.
Soe8381 – question reads “I have selected the.”This question should probably have something to do with a particular conversation selection based on the answer.
Soe7538 – This seems to be the last Act II entry left in the database. Probably want to remove it.
Soe8703 – Please mention in this entry that the actions taken against a player’s account will not be made public to the person who reported them. This is one of the biggest misunderstandings I have come across in General Chat.
I'll post some more later tonight (if I get the chance)

I figured it was SWG only in game. But might help people if the SWG links went to a data base that was SWG only.

Here is the solution:Star Wars galaxies: Can I sell Star Wars galaxies credits, items, characters or accounts?
Under article 7 EULA.
'you may not use or distribute macros or other programs which would allow unattended game play. '
Thats in the knowledge base, however it has been stated that AFK macroing is ok.
I believe that is referring to out-of-game macros. In-game are built in to the system and should be allowed unless it exploits a bug.
Exploiting and making the most out of the game system are not necessarily one and the same.

tried a search for pikeMan... came up empty
What questions did you ask of the Knowledge Base Braglor? Let me know what information you were looking for and I'll do my best to track it down and add it (as long as its not a "spoiler")
Ok try this for size and i cant find it in the knowledge base so it is on topic ![]()
Since player city patch my city has suffered from a server boundary. The very brief version here includes problems with warping mobs, pets, shuttle breaks daily, cant pick items in houses huge lag right in the middle of the city by the boudary, vendors poof regularly and trainers vanish. 6 csr's out no joy, pm's here no joy, on my 5th unresponded to mail to support hijacked threads, /bugsx lost count and enev tried calling the support lines only to get recorded messages or closed or unavailable messages.
End of my tether here 3 months this has been going on and causes no end of tells and mails to my mayor account. Please someone get me a dev that knows about server boudaries and can come and let me show them the hundreds of other GAME BREAKING issues for the 90 residents at my city.

Most skillmods arent exlpained well. I actually still dont know how defense, accuracy and damage is figured out in relation to your skill mods.
Jayces wrote:I hate to contradict BlueOx but last I checked Usage XP was still in the game. I will test it out and get back to you as I haven't crafted for a while but it was changed in beta so that you got 10% of your xp from usage rather then the majority.
I concede the point, Jayces. I was under the impression it had been completely removed, but I went looking and the last dev statement about it was Raph Koster on Aug. 18, saying "Removing usage XP as the sole XP source was an extremely difficult decision. (Currently, it is a bonus, and a bonus with little perceived boost at that, because we don't notify you when it happens and it is often delayed by up to an hour, which leads many to suspect that it doesn't happen at all)."
I guess my memory was still clouded from the "Great Bofa Treat Debacle" during Beta3, when folks were grinding up artisan by eating their own crafted bofa treats. The devs completely overhauled the UXP system after that, and I think most people (like me) figured it was such a disaster that it had been removed completely.
Regardless, the Knowlege Base article was incorrect in stating that it is required to advance. It's one way to advance (albeit painfully slow), but if someone never earns a single point of UXP in their career, it will not keep them from mastering -- just as xp from factory use is not a requirement.
