Someone else said this is a "game-breaking" issue. Are you serious? Are you so wrapped up in your own little world that you possibly thing that this is such a concern that requires an immediate and drastic fix?

This has caused client crashes because that zone in the city is overpopulated. Before I upgraded my computer to one gig of RAM, it would take forever to run from the cantina to the starport. I am not running a shotty computer either. Its not the best, butat the time I was running:

AMD Athlon 2500 (barton) / 512MB PC3200 400MHZ FSB / NVidia Geforce4 Ti4600 128MB / NForce2 motherboard (asus) / Western Digital HD with 8MB cache

The upgrade fixed my problems, but that is not an option for some people. Seems like a game breaker to me.

Funny your computer and hardware is better than mine I almost never LD inside the cantina even when I leave my computer on all day long.

Yes it takes me longer to run to the starport. Does taking longer to run to the starport qualify an issue as being game-breaking? No.

If all those entertainers were trying to get xp AT the keyboard instead of AFK, would that change anything? No.

So you are saying that it is a game-breaking issue if a bunch of people hang out in the same local area.

Lets ban people from loitering in front of the Coronet Starport. Prior to cantinas that was the worst lag spot I ever saw because anywhere from 40-50 people would just sit there spamming for AP. Lets ban them.

The only real game breaking lag issue was the first day with vehicles when they would not store... ever. In front of every starport I went to I saw 50-60 bikes idling as wel as players. THAT was serious lag and you could not work around it. You will note that that issue was resolved rather quickly, as many game breaking issues are (not all).

At least when I post, even a hate-filled destructive post, there is a point to it and I always explain what the point is, and I know what I am talking about because I understand the game and the game's mechanics.

And do not fret as I will be off of your precious boards within a couple of days, hopefully with a gleaming red lightsaber in hand.

considering your trying to incite a pis$ing match i would have to say that you are not 31 or if so very immature... I love how you assume so much... you know what happens when you assume... btw since you are so trying to prod me into a pis$ing match you should know that relationships and income dont make the man or child in your case... and i highly doubt if you can ever or do make more because with an attitude like yours its unlikely people would want to do business with you.

Broog, is your partner aware that your physical age is 31 but your mental age is only 6? For someone trying to claim a higher state of maturity, your last post was pretty immature. You also might want to see a professional for that superiority complex.

Hmm why would I need to seek professional help? I am not the one whining one the boards that some people can master my profession fast and its ruining my life.

People that are too attached to the game need professional help i.e. you.

And actually I will be 32 in 2 months and a handful of days. And I assume a lot, and I am generally right. Its a smart-person trait.

If any of you took the time to read most of my posts with an open mind, which I know is hard for many of you and actually takes a lot of maturity which whiners typically do not have, you would realize the difference between a 13-year old's posts and mine. It would be very easy for me to just post "l0s7r n00bs!" but instead I back up my opinions with arguments and explanation in a fairly organized and coherent manner.

See unlike the typical flamer, I try to understand why people are upset and try to educate them as to why they are being unreasonable. Actually why they are wrong even though "opinions have no right and wrong" I never really believed that. If your opinion was that the Sun revolved around the Earth I would say that's wrong too.

For those who are upset I am sorry you are upset about the state of the game, but whining here is not the answer figure out a way to recapture the things in the game that made it enjoyable. Pretty sure in most of my posts here I mentioned a few alternatives to avoid the AFKers I have so many outstanding threads at the moment I cannot keep track of which is which.

And don't fee bad, you are not alone! The crafting forums hate me too because I stick it to one of their favorite people all the time and they get very testy about that. Loyal people... stupid but loyal.

Ah, so you are of the mindset of "Everyone is entitled to their own erroneous opinion."

And anyway, relative to the earth's perspective, the whole galaxy revolves around the earth.

Do I even have to try here? So relative to me the whole universe revolves around me? What's the point you guys just don't get it and that statement proves it.

Its a lost cause. Enjoy your forums.

It takes a lot for a man (or woman) to admit they were wrong about something. Too bad no one here can do that ever.

Enjoy your misery with the game-breaking grinders because cry as you might, that will not change.

Broog, I tend to agree with you. This is not a game-breaking issue that is being discussed. It is an issue where people want to keep doing the same things they have always done, and in the same way. Well, boys and girls, it ain't gonna happen. Things have changed. There are now combat classes becoming master chefs, and musicians becoming bounty hunters.

And guess what?!?! We're finding out that we're all having a bit of fun with this. There are some hard-core combat types that are going to go back to being craftsmen, once they have opened their slot. They found out that they have a knack for it, and they wouldn't have known that except for the stupid holo. There are some people finding out that they are pretty good at combat, and they thought they would remain as a tailor.

But, listen closely now, getting enough XP, to the point where something is really fun, is rather BORING!!!!! Once you have done a few different professions, they are really ALL THE SAME. You find out how to get through the lower parts as best you can without going crazy, and then you can start enjoying some of the good parts of it, before you get too old to remember that there are good parts.

So, the dancers and musicians can't get in to their usual places? Well, darn it all, why don't you find a place that isn't as densely populated, and really thrill the hicks with some classy dancing or music? Liven things up by singing songs while you dance or play. I leveled up my musician in a cantina in Kaadara. There is almost nobody there, except for the lonely Bounty Hunters, who usually really really need a dancer or musician. They get some nasty wounds out there. Or get a group together and go out to a cantina on one of the frontier planets, where people are going through on hunts. Are you too good to do that, or too proud? The times are changing, and you can either change with them (and maybe make them better), or you can break. It is up to you to be creative with these changes. It isn't up to the holo chasers or to Sony or to anyone else except for you.

You must tend your own garden. There is no fate but what we make. Now, blow your nose, wipe your face, and go out and make the world into what you want it to be. Or my musician/bounty hunter will come and beat the snot out of you.

Don't let the negative AFKophobes get you down. Play the game however you want.

Is the beta testing almost over for this game?

Broog,

If you had bothered to read my post correctly, I never said I crashed. I did point out that it had caused client crashes. I did point out that I had serious lag issues before I upgraded. Client crashes are a game breaking issue. There is no other way to interpret a client crash due to game mechanics as other than a game breaking issue.
