I'm more interested in the macro change. I was this close () to hitting cancel today.

Well, they just mentioned that a couple months ago.
If you take the timeframe of when they first talked about giving us new songs/dances as an example, that's 14 to 15 months.
Given the macro thing affects all professions, I would estimate the macros being removed somewhere in 2009. And even then, it won't stop buffbotting.
Seriously.
I wouldn't expect them to do anything about this anytime soon.
They don't seem to do anything about anything in a timely manner. Look at their past performance.
