Thread: Let's try this again Top Issues Polling
top issues in my opinion:
- No benefits to mastering as far as inspiration buffs
- Still unable to use your naralgon in theaters
- playback droids not being able to be banded in POB's
- effect droids - effects "drop" to lower level in theaters and in Kashyyyk cantina
- group of 8 is limiting
1. AFK.
2. Elite profession needs to have a benefit beyond that of the novice profession.
3. More songs/instruments/sounds.
4. Figure out something to get us larger groups.
5. Make /denyservice work like /addignore, in that there is a permanent, readable list.
I'll get the rest of the details out tomorrow, but I'm going to bed for now
1. Unattended gameplay (wheither by ingame tools or third party programs), once again to be against the EULA and ENFORCED with account warnings and bannings.
2. One new song/dance/instrument granted to us for every new crafting schematic, weapon, starship, quest, etc. granted to other professions since launch.
3. Grouping. This includes droids in space, and group size.
4. /denyservice needs to work not only like /addignore, but as a building ban. There's a reason these people are denied service. If they tried the same thing in RL, the bouncers would be 'helping' them to the curb. Include a time limit if need be.
5. Worthless skills. The devs taketh away, and they taketh some more. You cannot say 'Entertainers don't fall under the Combat Upgrade' when that 'upgrade' affects our skills, our performances, and our profitability.
For the love of the Force, designated servers for PVP, PVE, and RP. Let the 1337 dewds blow themselves up to their hearts content on their servers, and let us roleplay on ours.
We've been damn patient for far too long. Some of us have taken breaks, coming back in the hopes that the improvements the Devs have been promising us for two years now have been implemented. Instead, we see scads of Jedi, where continuity dictates there should be two. We see new content for other professions bumped ahead of what we've been promised. We see the few virtues of our professions ripped away with no communication on when or even IF we'll be compensated. We see the same top issues that we've seen for two years. Enough is enough.
Nalargon and Ommni boxes allowing other players to yank them out of range and out of the environment (Not good!)
Nalargon and Ommni Boxes requiring permanent targetting (Annoying as heck)
/startband and /changeband still need fixing (It's broken - it needs fixing)
They have been promising to remove recursive macros "right after <insert any major patch/expansion here>" for a year and a half now. There were some pretty strong posts from a dev, if I recall correctly, stating that it was going to be looked at as soon as Jump to Lightspeed was released. They've been dangling that carrott in front of entertainers forever, and nothing has been done. In fact some devs make it sound like they never even heard of any promise to remove AFK performing. I'm not optimistic, regardless of what has been promised or said... if there's one thing I've learned in the last couple years, it's not to believe anything SOE devs promise until it's a reality.
Second - I've been listening to non-master entertainers complain about not being able to play the Mandovial/Ceremonial as long as there have been master entertainers. If it is really that important to you, then use your skill points and get master entertainer. Just about every master of a base class has something that those in the elite professions could benefit and/or profit from... swoops (master artisan) are one such example. You can't expect the game to revolve around your template.
