1. /deny needs to last like /addignore
2. XP and SP requirements are high, especially if whole skill branches remain useless (i.e. mind enhancement, BF healing)
3. More songs/flourishes/content are needed.
4. AFK needs to go away.
5. Masters should have more usefulness than novices.

Ya know, to play the jukebox songs on and everything. I wanna be able to do some crazy effects like record scratches and stuff. Maybe evena beat generator or something, and acustom mix for parties.
Eh, just thought I'd throw that out there...if this is all going to the Devmeisters.

- Real Star Wars music. If SW3 is SOE's idea of the imperial march there may not be any hope for this
- more instruments(a trumpet or harmonica type thing would be nice)
- a reason to go past novice entertainer
- moving while performing.
- music creation. If the only problem is copyright laws, make it so simple there would be no way to copy someones music. Simple music creation would be better than nothing.
- musical balance. The melody jumps around from instruments do its hard to tell who has the melody when. The melody should be the loudest and the others should back off
- make dynamics an option
- maketempo an option
- An articulation option?
- Entertainer missions for Jabba the Hut or other main characters ( I'm sure R2-D2 has sophisticated musical tastes) *playes SW3 for the emperor*.......*dies*
- Not having to target your omni box/nalargon to play it.
- Kotor music. Loved the Kotor 2 cantina music on Onderon
- make instruments a lethal weapon? Or make entertainers masters of improvised weapondry
- make entertainer armor, at least inate armor like TKAs
- make entertainer group size unlimited but exp would be the same as ifthere were 20 in the group.
- get rid of armor and weapon certs. I took me forever to get my stormtrooper armor that i can't perform in anymore. Or let ents be certified for every armor and every weapon but make it so it can't do any damage.

2. Get rid of the ability to AFK the entire profession
3. More instruments/songs
4. Give entertainers the ability to form a "super-group". A group size of 8 is far too limiting, especially since our xp gains are greatly affected by the size of the group.
5. Add Entertainer specific content
There are of course many other issues but these are the biggest ones to me.
1) AFK play (but i must admit that this was addressed even if not directly, in fact now entertainers are so useless that only people playing them are the ones that do that becayse they like to dance or to play a song)
2) lack of interdipendence (?) i'm not complaining for the lack of buffs (as said above it probably helped to get rid of akers) but the mind wound/BF system forced people to stop in the cantina every 1-2 days, now mind wounds are gone and BF goes up (almost) only on death.
3) group size, ok i think will be quite dificult to do a full group these days but the social aspect of the profession is probably the only thing left to the profession, is quite evident that the reduction of group members to "platoon" (8 box) could have a bad impact on that for different reasons
4) before mind buffs, before holos, before buffbots musicians where asking for a bit more differentiation of instruments and new songs.... almost 2 years have passed but not much changed... yes we have a couple of new songs, but nothing more.
5) i think i finished my issues so i put there an "i don't want"... i don't want musician so become a sort of combat bard that walk in the battlefield with his Narga buffing member components or killing gobs with"nasty" songs as SW3.

(Btw, talking of 'unlock', after that long time, I finally got a visit of that old dude... beeing lvl 54 MTKA / Master Ent / Master Musician at that time... I have been much surprised at my encounter with those Sith bad guys beeing something like lvl 76 or more... I couldn't keep that shiny crystal the dude gave me very long heh!
Add to that the obvious need to remove AFK, aswell as the need of content and other things stated before me

1. Unattended gameplay (wheither by ingame tools or third party programs), once again to be against the EULA and ENFORCED with account warnings and bannings.
2. One new song/dance/instrument granted to us for every new crafting schematic, weapon, starship, quest, etc. granted to other professions since launch.
3. Grouping. This includes droids in space, and group size.
4. /denyservice needs to work not only like /addignore, but as a building ban. There's a reason these people are denied service. If they tried the same thing in RL, the bouncers would be 'helping' them to the curb. Include a time limit if need be.
5. Worthless skills. The devs taketh away, and they taketh some more. You cannot say 'Entertainers don't fall under the Combat Upgrade' when that 'upgrade' affects our skills, our performances, and our profitability.
For the love of the Force, designated servers for PVP, PVE, and RP. Let the 1337 dewds blow themselves up to their hearts content on their servers, and let us roleplay on ours.
We've been damn patient for far too long. Some of us have taken breaks, coming back in the hopes that the improvements the Devs have been promising us for two years now have been implemented. Instead, we see scads of Jedi, where continuity dictates there should be two. We see new content for other professions bumped ahead of what we've been promised. We see the few virtues of our professions ripped away with no communication on when or even IF we'll be compensated. We see the same top issues that we've seen for two years. Enough is enough.
01. AFK'ing must go.
02. We could use a statement of vision for our profession so we know where we fit in Galaxies
04. Unique sounds between existing instruments (in particular make things like the Fizzz and the Kloo have different sounds).
07. Fix Nalargon/Ommni Box issues (the need for constant targetting, and the ability for non-musicians to steal them)
17. Make instrument quality matter, or remove it entirely
18. Fix the bug that only shows /flo animations to people who are /listening to the performance
19. Make the microphones and loudspeakers work
25. Rework skillpoints for non-combat professions as well as XP requirements for the elite profs (which are entirely too high).

1) Fixing things that were broken during the CU that were not in "scope"
a) Group size issues
b) XP gain issues
c) Useless branches of skill point trees and overall skill point investment vs. return
2) AFK should be eliminated, but at this point its only used for grinding. IF changes are made to give us a better possibility for interaction or income, those abilities NEED to be non AFKable. So I'm not saying it needs to be eliminated at this point (it should be!), but rather that AFK needs to be looked at for any changes coming our way and that any new ability MUST not be able to be AFKed.
3) Content, Content, Content!!!!!!
a) More Songs
b) More instruments
c) Unique sounds for all the instruments we currently have
d) Better more dynamic missions
e) Quests ...we only have one and its more like an extended mission
f) A role in the GCW
g) A role in progressing in FS
h) A role in various themeparks
4) Fixes or statements that things are as intended for ALL the various bugs and issues that we have had for almost 2 years.
a) Ommni/Nal targeting
b) /Changeband and /startband issues
c) Player theatres
d) Various instances of effects happening and instruments being called under the surface of the floor/stage/whatever
e) XP issues for the newer songs (Western, Funk, SW4)
f) Instrument quality?
And my newest pet peeve that I was going to post a separate thread for, but decided to include it here.
5) Removal of the 400K xp cost for Western!
Its been almost a full year since this was implemented. It has been 2 expansions since it was! We were told that XP costs for new content would become the standard for new content being issued in the game. We were told that it was going to be implemented "Soon(tm)". Nothing has yet happened, so not only do we have a very basic "quest" (and I use that term lightly) but we also have an expenditure of almost twice a tier 4 box to receive the reward (I don't really call the 4-5K creds a "reward"). NO other profession has this cost for anything that has been added for them. No costs to learn schematics or to use new weapons. No cost to use new armor. Yes they have had their profession XP costs incresed, but that is not "post master" content like the Theatre manager quests are. I DO like the way Theatrical 2 was implemented (dance theatrical 1 for 100K then you can learn 2, even though I think the 100K is too high for a dance with xp that low), however I do not like the SECOND 400K to learn it! Entertainer are the only ones punished like this, and it needs to be removed.
I'll add if I think of anything else.
