Guy's and Girl's, In 2 ways I totally agree with the whines and the moans, but to let you know the recursive macro has not been banned, the buff from the macro has gone. I run a buffbot for my guild, in our cantina alongside a dancer. I did this for my guild and anyone else who comes in for the buff and healing and yes I have it spamming aswell. 1) Agree with you on the principle of spamming, it is annoying and a pain in busy cantina's. 2) disagree with the idea of removing the buff from afk'ers. I have had numerous thankyou's from people who receive the buff and healing whilst I was AFK on my other character hunting or grinding. It was very relaxing for them to know they could return to the cantina knowing I would be there for them 24/7. You guys gotta remember TIME-ZONES, not everybody is live all the time. I'm sorry to say this, but Im right in saying it's not going to last. Oh last thing my buffbot is still healing and spamming on an AFK recursive macro but no buff of course.
I personally feel that it should not have happened, but then thats how I feel

Just to let you know (man we're repeating this a lot)..recursive macros and buffing have not been nerfed. A bug has been introduced which effects the ability to successfully apply a dance buff in the conventional way while grouped. Please read the related posts in this and the Dancer profession forums for detailed descriptions of the known workarounds.
Once again..your bot has not been nerfed..it is a bug..we did not ask for it..we do not like it.

Woops.... I do apologise, but if there is a bug for the dancer buff, How come my macro has stopped buffing? I am a master musician with a 8 minute macro buff and all it does is autojoin, play for 8 minutes with flourishes every 10 seconds and in the end they get nothing. I can give a buff if I target the individual and /setperform with this macro, but wont group buff when I'm AFK, I have not changed my macro since the 12.1 patch and it only seems as though the bug has been introduced to both. I will try other macro's to see whether it is the macro I'm using but I feel as though there is another problem along the line,

Ok, I have now tried 3 different types of macro for musician buff's and unfortunately none of them will buff in a group. If I targetone individual at a timein the group and /setperform the buff is successful, the same if i use the macro on one individual grouped with me and I/setperform it is successful, please mister dev's my guild is getting a bit worried about not having group buff sessions, please help............

No-one else seems to be having this problem. Undoubtedly your macro is the problem. Try doing it without the macro.

I am just curious when are they suppose to be going away. I so can't wait then new players will have a easier chance to level than the afk master pistoleer or tkm. I have helped a new person move one of them just so they could get a little xp.
