Thread: Which droid modules?
And, sorry all, for straying from the topic... :-)
Whoa, I can dance and /bandflo 3 bandfill at the same time? OMG. This is dangerous. 
In general, these things are great fun. I was smiling like a little kid jamming with (Sonny), my session musician and lights bot, last night.
Echinacea, I too was puzzled that I couldn't seem to record flourishes -- only the basic track. But it seems okay, because we can /bandflo the droid. My question is: can I play /flourish 3 while my droid plays, say, /flourish 6? Do I turn off /bandflos for myself to do that?
Also, on healing (speaking in hushed tones so that the devs don't hear):my droid didn't seem to use any action at all. Nor did he run low on power.
Psylion, glad to hear about your new "funky" band. Me, I wander among servers these days, but Ricky and Ronny still do play on Chilastra.
Anyway, I think I will get a second droid with five sound tracks and just confetti -- the one effect I left off my "effects" droid. Too bad we can't have two droids out at once. 
If Ricky dropped Carbineer and became a DE/MM, could he use two droids then? For that matter, is there anyone in SWG who is both a Droid Engineer anda Master Musician? 
You may want two r3 since you can have 5 total droids one filled to the gills with playback mods. The other one with one play back mod and a bunch of partical effect generators. The electric fog effect was being called the epilepsy cloud last night hehe so I will not be using that one again.
I LOVE being able to play at least a duet of my best songs which are so hard to find other musicians to play with now.
Tonight I think I will play around with a multiple playback droid and see how that works. Curious if you can have it playing multiple tracks at the same time.

I gotta rewrite since I was rambling: shove in a medical. Myself, rodians could care less, but all you other entertainers are always mewing for heals. The droid would dump out some foam or dancing jawas, flourish along, and heal everybody in the group. Perfect.
Course, myself... I love my pure performance droid.

Yeah, you can do that. I wrote these macros I put in their own toolbar, for playing around with a band. They do bandflos for specific instruments. They're all the same "song," as in they are identical macros, except each does bandflos for sax or horn or drum specifically. So I can run one macro, then start the second one a little later... or run them all at the same time, kind of make a call and response thing. makes a lot of bandflo spam, but works okay. Anyway, you can do a florish yourself while the bot is doing it's own flo. I just made a macro for the droid I run along with my own.
Droids can also suffer from the /change bug! So I had to make it stop and walk around a bit, lol.
My droid runs out of juice and action! Hm, sounds like you have a really good droid.
But, made me think,you could have an engineer make a droid that would heal both of you while you jammed together, another option. That new medical module sounds very useful. The DE I was dealing with was playing around with a model he made that would fight and heal itself, while he stood back and watched--he said it heals them both if he fights, too. That would be a good droid for entertainers, a jawa dancing, bandfloing, healin droid.
