Thread: Why putting a 15-second delay in AND nerfing speed buffs is WRONG.

Melpomyne ,

You really should read more before you write.

1) It does not need to take 12 minutes to do a full buff. The 3:10 buff has been tested and still works.

2) The exploit didn't really get looked at until it was shown that it gives XP at four times the normal. NewJedi said as much earlier in this thread.

We really should be focusing on the issues that still need to be fixed rather than belaboring this point to death.

I used to be a Squad Leader (voluntary, not holo). I focus on whatever issues I feel like out of desperate hope, not an actual belief that something is going to be done. =p

Anyways it's not like I WANTED to sound like a broken record but I did it for the sake of getting more business. The way it sounds is completely overlooking the point. Entertainer buffs are underpoweredrelative to skill point expenditure, in all aspects- duration, power, and apply time. Dunno about you, but that IS an issue to me. I LIKE to be able to survive in today's hyperinflated economy, personally.

Well I still have a good number of regulars from the speed buff days, so right now my biggest performing issue is:

Just remove the damn delay, or think about the method I brought up, making the delay for XP GRANT rather than STARTING 15 seconds, and cancel when you stop.
