Yeah, it would only take you down to Initiate (just FS skill boxes trained -- no normal profs, either.)

OK, here's a hypothetical question. If you had to choose between these two scenarios, which would you pick?
Scenario A - Jedi become signifigantly more powerful than normal professions (as in, could take several normal professions down easily), but there isXP loss on every death, skill loss when you get to negative XP,and maybea permadeath along the way (if you die too many times.)
Scenario B - Jedi are almost equal with normal professions in terms of strength, but there's no such thing as skill loss, and XP loss only on death by BH.
Just wondering which one people would take if given the chance.
Scenario A - But with no permadeath (not fair to jedi) but if you lose skills on death you could be bumped down to empty template.

I still have pain in my arms (grinding grinding and grinding) pre CU so I think we deserve a little more powerful profession than we have now.... The permaDeath back to initiate/padawan was a good idea.
However since everyone have a Jedi it does'nt really matter....does it?

Permadeath/Skill Loss would be a deterrent to people picking Jedi, as it's no longer the difficult profession it was originally made out to be. If you can manage the grind (which is intensely boring) up to FS, the Jedi grind is relatively simple -- since you don't get visibility by being in a group, you just grind up to full temp then go get all the vis you want. If you get a BH after you and he wins, it doesn't affect you in the least, since you'll lose nothing other than XP that you don't need.
