Hmmmmm seems to me that the "asanine"10 minutes had the devs desired effect here. You had a blast and made a friend for at least 2hrs. Maybe the devs aren't as "asanine" aspeople have previously thought.

I'd just invite her to a group, and keep her in group, so she can't join anyone else. One buffbot effectively shut down. However, this won't get rid of her spam. For that the real entertainers will have to advise people who enter the cantina to /addignore her.
"Oh just /addignore <annoyingspammerbot>. Her programming is messed up and nobody can figure out how to switch her off, so we're just leaving her there until her batteries run down." /grin
Do you know who owns this buffbot? You could try asking all the patrons to send a /tell to that person, asking him to get rid of the annoying spam in his bot's macro (or better yet, move his bot to a player city or guild hall somewhere). A sort of "tell hell," as it were.
Also, I've never tried it, but you could experiment with flooding the bot itself with tells or emails. See if you can crash it!

Most buffbots have a /disband in their macros, anticipating this.
We DO need more squad leaders, however....
(Obviously the board moderators don't read my posts like you guys either)
