So, Musicians get a new song (sadly, no new instrument (xanathan it was called)) but dancers get formal/formal2 v 2.0... so sad. Is it obviously not motion captured, or is it just a really bad motion cap?

Carp, there is something about the base dances of formal & lyrical and now this one. From the dancer's perspective it looks mo-capped..from the perspective of the non-entertainer viewer it looks like..um..well..like we're having a seizure while ice skating. Surely, you've seen it before.

I dunno, I don't have a discerning eye for the dances, so it's hard for me to assess. I kinda liked the dance, but I'm clueless.

Yes, the quest is on Test-Ahazi at least. I got to the final part where you have to turn in 400K exp and my new dancer gave up. Not going to sit there for 10 hours to test a dance that all reports say is as broken as Formal, Formal2, Lyrical and Lyrical2. /sigh

P.S. for anyone hoping for a new insturment - it was a vicious rumour - QA have confirmed they've heard nothing about it.

I don't want to keep spreading rumors, but a musician was telling me her guildmatecame acrossa schematic on TC and couldn't use it becausemusician was required. A schematic? It's not that I doubt anything anybody from QA says... Okay, I doubt anything anybody from QA says.

New song.

No new instrument.

Broken new dance.

400k xp required???????

When we're supposedly to be using that for FORCE SENSITIVE XP IN THE VILLAGE???!!!!!??????

Give the **edit** Weaponsmiths, Armorsmiths, Medics, Doctors, Bio-Engineers, ANYONE some new content and require XP to get it right now. Do it.

I would expect many would NEVER EVER EVER NEVER stop COMPLAINING how their attempt to gain Force Sensitivity and a JEDI is being negated by getting some new content.

Inexcusable.

All of it.

Inexcusable.

End of story.

I expect the XP Requirement REMOVED. No excuses. No compromise. REMOVED. No need for that, we did their quests, we get the reward.

My xp is capped at 900k, and I need EVERY LAST BIT OF IT TO OBTAIN MY JEDI. WHY AM I FORCED TO SPEND NEARLY 50% of my HARD EARNED XP for ONE NEW SONG when I should be using it to get a JEDI.

I will NOT spend it to get something I ran QUESTS for and spent a lot of TIME on.

I expect the dance to be FIXED.

There is no excuse for giving us anything that is yet again is broken.

I expect the xp requirement to be REMOVED.

I am supposed to be working at getting at xp for Jedi. I do not accept the Devs screwing me over in FS xp conversion for a reward from Quests I SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE.

This quest leaves me feeling... this game is really stupid.

Honestly, I did the combat quest in the village. Fun? Maybe a little, at first. It quickly became mind numbing. The quest is literally driving in circles, the same circle, over and over and over. For eight hours! It took me three buffing sessions. Driving in circles driving in circles. It's almost comical.

This quest seems more of the same. Drudgery is not "fun."

The devs need to fiugure out how to write some engaging, interesting quests. Maybe they should play World of Warcraft, don't know. This entertainer quest is just more driving in circles.

This whole experience requirement seems to be a way to keep entertainers out of the village again, I see no other logical explanation. I don't know what it is about entertainers, but they seem to really hate the idea of any person with that profession getting jedi. Maybe they feel it isn't fair to the "real" players or something like that.

I agree 100%. The XP requirement is outrageous. And no new instrument? It's sad...it really is.

Then you won't be a Jedi? Because you are spending it, a lot of it on something you ran quests for.

I really wish I could be playing this song with you guys I am very bitter at the fact that I was pretty much forced to give up my music skills in order to do this whole FS quest thing.... I admit that it is good that they are at least giving entertainers something new, but the requirements is just another slap in the face for a disgruntled musician. It is my only hope that when i finally finish this cursed grind, the musician and dancer situation will be better. 400k for a quest to get a new song,no new instrument, and being forced to take up master medic to start the current senses quest are just bad news for players like me. /mood disgruntled

P.S. I am really glad you like it newjedi, wish I could be playin it with you.

I'm sorry, on this one, I basically think the devs have done a great job. We're getting a wonderful new song. I mean, it's really neat. We're getting quests that I find enjoyable and interesting. There's a puzzle to the quests that you can enjoy if you don't read spoilers. There's also a small social aspect to it. The XP cost gives us the kind of post-Master goal we always say we want. Sure, it may be a bit steep, but would you prefer it be a cash cost? No cost at all? Me, I enjoy having goals and hurdles to come.

And I think the dance is pretty good too. The flo's are great. The issue is the base dance, and I really think one's perception on this may be affected by one's internet connection. There is some evidence that some players don't see the sync issues that others do. I don't see them at all on the new base dance. I have a very good connection and a very fast (RAID 0 10K RPM SATA) hard drive array.

The devs have given us a great thing here. Get out there and enjoy it!
