I'm liking our new song! Those mando riffs were working for me, big time! (/emote refrains from providing too much more detail.) Memo to file: keep Master Entertainer.
Thanks to all on Test Center who helped me get through the quests to get the song. Special thanks to Seani (sp?), the QA rep, for helping everyone along with it. If you have a Musician on TC, there's still time to test the new quests and song -- though you'll need 400K Musician XP to learn the tune.
Panthu and Avow also demonstrated the new dance. The flourishes look great; the base step gets more mixed reviews. It's a big dance, requiring lots of room. I liked it.

400k xp to learn the song? Well it will be a long time before this brand new master can take the quest

If you mean a broken base dance, I'm afraid reports are that it's as broken as the current formal and lyrical dances.

Richie - why hold back - THE NEW SONG IS GREAT! (I'ts called Western by the way)
I was on stage with Seani in some mean duets, get a Kloo Horn and either the Mando or the nalargon together and it is awesome, we had hoped to do all three together but Seani had to go home before NewJedi managed to finish the quest.
The new song does have some strong bass tracks but the kloo has a nice electric effect that matches beautifully with the strings of the mando (Memo to self - this song is worth dropping Master Doc to get Master Entertainer!)
I unfortunately have to go to work today for a while, but as a treat for anyone who wants to hear it and can install TC I'm gonna leave my musician (Senom) in the New Unity Cantina running a simple macro so you can here the sounds of a Kloo Horn on the new song
P.S. for anyone hoping for a new insturment - it was a vicious rumour - QA have confirmed they've heard nothing about it.

Hehe, Senom, I was trying not to raise expectations *too* high, but what can I say, I agree: it's a terrific song. I think it's one of the best songs we've got in our whole repertoire. The sum is greater than the parts, but even some of the parts -- especially the mando, bandfill, and chid horn -- just are great.
No new instrument that I know of.

where can i get this quest ?
You'll be able totake the quests from any Theater Manager (in the back hallway of NPC theaters). Right now these are only on Test Center. (I believe they're only on TC-Prime, not TC-Ahazi or TC-Bria, but I'm not totally sure.)

I thought I heard someone on TC say they were also on the other iterations of TC, but who knows. But yeah, the quests aren't Live yet.
On the dance: I liked the flourishes a lot, but the base dance is indeed a little wonky. The dance covers a lot of ground, in the manner of Formal and Formal 2. The flo's are quite fun, but I predict the base dance will get mixed reviews from Dancers.

A little wonky? You are too kind, NJ . . . much too kind. The dance looks like something from "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", moves all over the floor for both base and flos and the base is seriously broken. The animations for the flos are well done, but some of them just look plan hokey . . .
Sorry - I'm just very, very disappointed in this "reward" for the dancers.
