I used to have some smuggler, but that was before I got master entertainer. If you have ME you won't be able to reach smuggler on account of all the points you need just to pick up novice marksman and go up the pistols line. But, without ME, you'll be able to go up one branch in smuggler, which would allow you to have feign death.
