I agree that the NPC Chat is to much , line after line, but I am not so concerned by the Fighting. I see it as a time to change away from what had become the handfull of used Cantines.
I am Rebel Master Musician the first thing I did when the GCW came upon us was back up my Narg and move to Moeina ( Rebel Safe town ). Now it will take a while for the every day brawler to find that we offer our servise away from Theed, C-Net etc but with a bit of promoting , and time, I think it will happen. Then once the GCW calms down and people are not out to kill every NPC they can ( And the novilty will wear off ) if your netrual you can play where you like ( Also if your on-leave although you might get scaned ) and if not play in a city your side controls. Also the people looking for some time to heal and gather there thoughts can stay Combatant and get healed in safe towns because we WILL be there providing the servise at the moment they have to come to enemy towns and thus the fighting starts.
We draw the crowd they go where we go. So I will try to adapt, after all I am master soxp is of little use and if I am in a cantine with 3 or 4 Entertainers instead of 20 thats fine and if we have a stady flow of 4 or 5 customers instead of 20 thats also fine maybe I'll meet some new people and earn better tips.

Is this only happening in certain cantinas/galaxies? Ive been cantina hopping and haven't seen a steady stream of NPCs in any so far. It makes me think that some places may be bugged, possibly only in certain places or in certain faction-aligned cities? Ive noticed a lot of people mentioning that it is happening in rebel aligned cities - are people seeing the steady stream in Imperial aligned cities as well? Are there rebel NPCs performing the same activities? (I think I remember that rebs were supposed to perform scans now too). Eaca mentioned having her AT-ST on guard so I assume yes, but so far all the cmplaints I have been seeing are mainly focused around Storm Troopers.
I wonder if it is possible to pin down exactly where it is happening and in what galaxies.

Well a stormy was entering Mos Eisley cantina every 10 minutes last night when I was there for a bit. His banter wasn't as bad as that in Theed but still several long lines. Tat is currently imperial so that breaks the rebel held territory theory on Corbantis at least.

The real problems occur when someone decides to do something about the offenders it seems. If you kill say the offending annoying spamming stormtroopers, another follows almost imeadiately. Soon they are coming in every15 seconds or less and you now have a battlescene and farming operation going on in the middle of the cantina. This is all fine and good for the faction farmer but it has taken the cantina away from the entertainers who are suppose to be the primary focus. I saw this occur in Theed and it was not pretty. There was even a move to the Theator by many of the live entertainers as a protest but unfortunately patrons did not follow so it was abandoned after a while. In hind sight, perhaps it would have been better moving to the Hotel next door instead.
