Ok..?
Shouldn't this be on the dancer/music/entertainer forum?

Not really the right forum for your rant thoguh is it?
It's not a rant, it's clearly a guide to AFK. Similar to how there are threads detailing how to macro or guides to forum functions, this is a guide to the devs' positions on AFK.
People who are on the fence about AFK'ing will be able to take comfort in the fact that the Dev's can not make up their minds either about the issue.
Ok, well, thanks for clearing that up... everyone can feel a little bit happier to use their AFK buffbots then.

A nice bringing together of the history of the devs statements on this issue. I know there are some more that can be added, though I don't have them at my fingertips (and I'm at work, so no time to go seek them out).
I dream of a day when this sort of post is *just* a history; a relic of "one of those issues long ago". I hope we reach that day soon

Well you know there is support from players who are not performers to be at your keys as well!
ATK is the only way to play.
Great to see this post.

You may be right, first step was, as some pretend, to fusion SWG with EQ2 and WoW's systems... next step is probably fusion the whole with PlanetSide (as already started with the twitch-game implementation of JtL!)
Oh well, please nevermind me as Im just beeing silly ^^ (/OneStar self)

I have often wondered *if* the suits at SOE have ever asked for a report along these lines:
- Player accounts whose billing address, and billing credit card number are the same
- Sort those accounts by date of activation
- Sort by profession to show only Dancer/Musician and Doctor, but ignore the account with the oldest or "first" activation date, as it would be assumed that these people who may have any of those three professions on an original account consider it their "main".
What I think you'd get from this sort of report is:how many alts are there that are just in existance to be a "buff bot" at one level or another?
