hmmm thought Ihad trained you more Musto . But at least I made you the uber instruments Anyway you have given me something to make the game fun again for a while. Think I'll just solo play in that joint for a while to bust up the strikes

Best bet is to leave that group and never group with them again. If anyone groups with me and tries a stunt like that, they would quickly find themselves performing solo. Preventing other musicians from performing is rude and borders on griefing. Initiating a strike in my groups will not be tolerated. If someone feels that they aren't making enough in tips, maybe they should re-evaluate their performance. Demanding tips is the quickest way not to get them.

I have gone on strike but for people abusing dancers, being rude or fighting in the Cantina.

I would have disbanded and started playing, and simply blacklisted those people.

I'm with you guys. An entertainer strike is no way to get credits.

I have to admit that I agree with most of you. Number one I am tired of seeing all the other classes trying to come into the Cantina to play music or dance. I really aggivates me because I'm thinking to myself I hope the idiots don't think they can get rich by playing music part time. Myself I have 0 combat skills, I am a musician and only a musician, I play music. I don't ask for peoples tips and I have noticed that when I did travel once I actually made better tips in a different cantina than the one I am always at. The cantina I made the most tips in was not very populated which was nice, for once I could actually see the door. I didn't ask for tips, and of course I stayed away from playing SW1. People loved my music and tiped fairly well, probably because I was playing Solo. I was getting alittle xp and that's all that matters. I am now almost a master musician.I think I might try getting more people going into the Hotel and Theater. One person tried it but it didn't work because people are always too greedy it seems. "Oh I'm not making enough xp here, I'm going back to the cantina" or my favorite "We don't have anyone watching us, how am I going to make tips"

The only two strikes i've ever experienced were for abusive behavior.

I never spam for tips - i only ever talk about tips when someone asks me how to do it.

The two worst cases of spamming i've seen are 1) some idiot with a song at least 100 lines long that he kept repeating - first time was ok even though it filled up everyone's chat window - cause it was a cute song - but once was enough - never seen him again 2) a couple that i really enjoy playing with spent their first night spamming like mad - I let them because i knew what would happen (even though they did a lot of variety) - they didn't get a single tip all night - the next day i talked to them privately and explained - it's a small town everybody knows me - i don't spam i get tips - that's what the customers are used to - i also greet everyone, thank for tips and heals, and chat the crowd up. They stopped spamming and lo and behold tips started coming in

Small towns love big time entertainers - a week or so ago someone who had come through town looking for something stopped back by with a master musician in tow. We grouped (in awe) and the narl got set-up - i then broadcast to everyone i could think of that they needed to get into the cantina - wow did we have a ball the customers and players alike. The tips were flowing in and the entertainment was a first rate diversion from the normal stuff

I definitely don't believe in striking because of lack of tips. Yeah, we all wish we'd be tipped more, but the fact is, if you stop playing, there's NO chance of getting tipped.

I have, however been on strike for people being rude or obnoxious in the cantinas. In a game this big, there's always going to be someone who you don't want to play for
