Actually I've always found the afk buff bottersto be the more private and selfish ones. They are the ones doing it for only their gain and or the gain of a small group of people and not caring about their effects on others. But thats just me *shrug*

It's amazing how many people start whining when they're faced with beingforced to play the game as intended.
Heaven forbid, you might have to start (gasp) paying for your heals and buffs. You might even have to go to another planet to find a master that's buffing. A year ago, we expected to have to travel to find thepeople that could provide the services we needed. Today, you expect there to be someone afking on every planet, in every static cantina, for you to get free service from.
You might think that there won't be any entertainers around after the macros are gone. There might not be at first... but once the afk'ers are gone,entertainers will bea vital profession again. People who were driven away by macroed NPCs will return to it. People who had to give it up because they could not make any money will come back to it. New players who choose entertaining won't be driven away from the profession by macroed NPCs. The entertainer population will come back. And they will get the respect they deserve.
Sorry if I come across as being bitter, it's only because I am.

Or maybe we could run our macro and restart it once it is up? It's not that hard you know.

actually they fly to the entertainers now as they will continue... at least be realistic

Always thinking of yourself is extremely selfish!
SWG has been about Player Based Marketing from the get go. Why dont you try marketing yourself a bit better instead of comming to the boards? BTW when you are posting on the boards do you log out? or are you an evil person afk?
lol and crying that you cant get your buffs and BF healing when you want isn't? at least make a resonably good argument...

I'll Just put what I said on another thread...
Personally I've been an Entertainer a very very long time. In all my time there have always been AFK people beside me dancing, playing music, and always frequently saying "Dont forget to tip!!!" or "Please heal me if my action is low". This has always aggrivated me!!! I want entertainers to actually be entertaining.
Not to mention this will help me financially. Giving Mind buffs is my only source of income. (No combat skills, spare pistols II). When I am in a Cantina trying to sell buffs there is usually another player right next to me (whom is AFK mind you) saying "Invite me to your group for free mind buffs, dont forget to disband so other people can have them too!!!" Now when Im standing there trying to sell my buffs, I get no one who asks for them because they don't have to pay for buffs from a Bot. (I don't charge much just 2k a buff! And mind you In my well about 7 months of playing have never had more then 300k).
As for this getting rid of all the entertainers around, I wont have a problem. It will make me more useful!

Hehe rememberhow SMUG the buffbots and buffbotjunkies were when we were pleading to the devs forhelp and trying to get the bots to stop thier evil ways??? Well for anyone who's old enough to remember the old line, the buffbots and their junkies can "kiss my grits"!!! This won't stop all of the buffbots, but it is the crippling blow that will make them a rarity instead of the norm

Dont worry bout him ^ ^ he's been posting the same on all ent sites looking for a fight.
And I remember a time when we didnt have buffs..oh what fun...group hunts...running screaming from every beastie..../sigh......I have done a few combat professions and have only ever been buffed 3 time since i started playing....

Hell no, those people should of tried to support "live" players, then they would have someone on there freinds list, but they didnt, so thats their problem. Bye Bye afkers

Well, I was thinking of dropping my TK skills to pick up Buffbot Killah.
Now I'm considering taking up dancing instead. Perhaps I'll be able to make enough money buffing and not have to rely on taking missions with my TK skills to keep up my cantina.
This is the best news I've heard in a while. I know we were celebrating on Tempest when we heard the news from visiting Doasa.
