Thread: Still trying to get us answers

But then, the Devs asking for feedback on the forum, and then never again posting in that thread isn't exactly unheard of around here, so at least in this case it's not necessarily just against entertainers. Or did they answer anybody?

(haven't checked the forum in the last few hours, they might have for all I know)

In previous bug threads, they have responded about various bugs.

They never responded to my posts.

In the current thread, I don't think they've responded about anything just yet.

Yeah, just been there and added my $0.02 (I had a vile headache for the last two hours and as a consequence am in a fighting mood, hehe). I must say, the outlook of some people is pretty depressing. I wonder who's following whom here: does the general player-base see us as some kind of lower life-form because the Devs set the example, or is it the other way round?

Oh well, I better go to bed now, it's late in this part of the world, and my headache ain't improving things

Well, I've said all I have to say about this.

You all know my opinion, and the Devs' lack of response with the situation speaks volumes about our place in this game from their perspective. In other words, they're completely indifferent about whether or not we get to have what pretty much every other playstyle in this game gets - an opportunity to obtain a Jedi.

Even if we get something later, that will actually let us unlock our Jedi, we'll be at a HUGE disadvantage versus all the other professions who will have a huge head start on their Force Sensitivity.

As it stands, not sure if people realize this, we can only get 2/3 of the way through the Force Sensitivity process. Then we'll have to pick up a crafting, medic, or combat profession to complete the unlock process by completing the appropriate profession quest. Then, and only then, once the quest is complete will we unlock our Jedi character.

We were told we would not have to change our template in order to gain a Jedi in this game.

I declare shennanigans on the Devs.

Peace.

Thanks for trying, Warryyr!

Keep up the good work.

I don't post much but now I'm really sad I can't get my Jedi.

I'm Master Dancer, Master Entertainer, Master Musician, and a little Image Designer.

I can't do anything in the Village I guess, and I was hoping to get a free Jedi alt who I could make only combat.

This stinks, I hate the Devs.

I just found about all of this, and it stinks something fierce. What a rotten way to treat us!

Anyways, thanks for trying so hard to get some response about all this. I guess the Force won't be with me since I'm an Entertainer.

This game has problems!

I agree that this is lame, Entertainers should have just as much of a place as anybody.

Perhaps, just perhaps this may be the reason..... They are going to add the Entertainer stuff after the AFK macro fix. That way "real" Entertainers can go that path, but you won't have people AFKing to Jedi.

If this is the case, they should say so, yet maybe they arn't sure how they are gonig to do it yet.

I've been adding the lack of Entertainer FS Quests to the Publish 10 bug threads since they started them.

I have not received a single reply from a Dev, as to whether it's a bug or it's intended that we nothing to do upon entering the Village.

Sorry folks, we're running out of time.

I've done the best I can.

Looks like we lose out.

gg, Devs. Remember that whole "improving communication with your player community"thing? Yeah, we're part of the community too.

I would imagine that an entire playstyle's Quest NPC's not spawning could be a major problem on TC. Do I hear anything back regarding this serious concern in the Publish 10 bug thread? Of course not! Makes perfect sense to me!

We're getting the shaft. And we are not the only ones.

I tried putting this into the bug thread to get some answers, I really did, and I failed to make a Dev so much as blink so it would seem. I wish I could have done more. Sorry, folks.

The question: Are there Force Sensitive Quests for Entertainers?

The Devs' answer: N/A (too busy to bother with the likes of us is all I can conclude)

I've been semi following some of these threads you're referencing. But, I don't have a test character or anything so I don't think I can accurately contribute to any discussions, like in the bug thread.

Do you, or anyone else know of any threads where something like this might be applicable where I can chime in?

Been kinda searching around...

I know it must be a difficult thing to notice if you're the only one in there bringing it up.

Many folks read these to see what's coming up in the game, any comments you want to make in there regarding content that's soon to arrive on Live would be appropriate, I should think.

I'm more inclined to believe the Devs didn't think for a MOMENT about us. We had to beg for any kind of Force Sensitive bonus, which is pathetic. I'm tired of being the little pathetic Entertainer, chastised and treated like I'm not even here. If their intention is to hold off on our stuff until they get rid of the AFK'ers, then they're purposefully screwing us just so they can fix something they've KNOWN about for quite awhile, have done 2 things about - jack and s**t, and is their fault anyways.

That says it all.

I'm tired of always whining for anything. There's no excuse for having to deal with this, when so many othersget new stuff thrown at them, yet we don't get a SECOND'S thought unless we all start screaming.

I'm tired of it.

I'm tired of being the whining b**ch and having my money get pissed away by them on things that don't benefit MY game.

Well, that's really it for me lol. Done with this whole subject. We got screwed. Again. Devs suck.

We entertainer Correspondents have already raised this with the devs, and there is no indication that they plan to budge. It's bad enough that our FS skills are so lame. (Why not aFS buff?) Butnoris there a FS quest for our playstyle. I've suggested a half-dozen different quest types that might inject a little danger: espionage, recon, running a dangerous gauntlet, risky deliveries, auditions, performance in various venues, that sort of thing. I doubt they'll implement any of those this close to the release of Publish 10.

For what it's worth, Politicians have no FS skills at all -- or any FS quests.

Yeah

Thanks for trying so hard, we have the most awesome Correspondents, like, ever.

This too shall pass. I'll just do what i have to in order to geta Jedi, and detail my approach as best I can in here, so other Entertainers might use the method to get themselves a Jedi.

I will not rest until I can play a Nalargon in my Jedi robe...
