Thread: Gimme back that Nalargon!
Only the owner of a musical instrument will be able to move it, others will still be able to play it.
Looks like we'll be getting this griefing bug out of the way finally with the current focus on bug fixing. I'll give you more details on precisely when we'll be getting it, but I've been told they already have it taken care of on the internal servers

Pity...that was one of the only reasons for a non-entertainer to still come into the cantinas.
Oh and I'd say "better late than never", but I'm undecided.

Btw, will we still have to keep Nala targeted? Since they already tweaking with it they may as well look in to that also. Yeah yeah I know, I’m offered a helping hand and I want to snatch the whole arm But can’t blame a girl for trying.
So my question to this is:
Will the art match the instrument if you play someone elses Nala/Omni?
Meaning will it, like chairs, line up correct? Or will I just sit down on an imaginary cushion of air (in the case of the Omni) next to the instrument and start playing?

I can ask about this specifically, but I kind of doubt it, just because they're almost certainly separate issues in the code. Probably a little trickier too.

I don't know exactly how it'll work, but from the reading of it, my guess is that the art will only be right if you line yourself up to it, since the only thing that was making the art line up before was to make the instrument move, which is what the problem/bug was.

I had my sig in my profile and it kept on getting messed up and only partially viewable....OK, OK that was over a year ago and I know these boards have had MANY updates since then. I also change my sig from time to time to reflect new professions or when I'm siging for an alt and want to include his info.
Oh and then there's when I'm on this computer and don't have it handy to paste in...

Two things...
#1. YAY! It's about damn time.
#2. On another non-entertainer character, I use a Nalargon and Omnni Box as decorations in my shop. Tired of coming back to see that they've been moved. Will this bugfix prevent griefers from messing up my shop display? (since furniture doesn't have an "owner" like an in-usemusical instrument does)
