I'm partial to the mandivol

Bandfil, it's the first bass insturment and I dig a good bassline. PlustI can target other people while playing itunlike the Ommni Box. A close second would be the Mandoviol because of it's guitar like quality.

Mando... dont like any of the others

1. Bandfill, because most groups need more bass sounds and you can target people.

2. Mandovial, not a master ent anymore since I needed some skills to make cash but loved the sounds

3. Nargolon, Organ/piano sounds it makes are cool but the must be targetted thing is just too annoying to use alot.

4. All others sound the same and bands always have plenty of horns, Omni box is not an option, sounds like a bandfill and has to be targetted so it is useless IMO

My favorite instrument is any new instrument that could possibly be put into the game - so long as it has a different sound.

Why?

I'm tired of all the current ones. Too many sound the same. Our profession has been stagnant for far too long. I love playing, but I grow weary of the same songs with the same instruments.

Tell me what kind of live entertainer could stay in business playing the same 10 or so songs for over a year.

My favorite is the bandfill, I love the bass beat. Songs don't quite sound "full" without it. My second favorite is the madovial, because of it's unique guitar like sound. If I'm playing by myself, I usually have my droid with the bandfill bassline, and I'm playing the mandovial.

If I had to have only one, I'd go with bandfill, because it does make any two players sound like a band. But if I know someone else is on drums, then I want my mando!

The bandfill is my favorite and the mandivol is my second favorite. Since I've mastered musician and entertainer, I'm not really concerned with playing the highest instrument to boost my musician experience, so I go for the sound now. A lot of groups lack a good percussion section, that's why I like the bandfill (and you don't have that ridiculous targeting issue as with the ommni box).

I know this wasn't the original question, but my favorite instrument/song combo is mandivol/sw1... which is rather interesting seeing as overall, sw1 is my least favorite song... but you just can't beat that electric guitar sound - it actually makes that crappy song sound good.

1. Mandoviol - I just love the way it sounds on most of the songs. Folk, Ceremonial, Ballad and Waltz are my favorite songs, and it sounds wonderful on those. (Okay, it sounds atrocious on most of the others, except for StarWars1.)


2. Bandfill - that percussion/bass line improves every song. Period. Now that I'm no longer able to play a mandoviol, I almost always tote my bandfill around.


3. Chidinkalu horn - I like this horn track better than the other. It's very nice on Jazz/Virtuoso.

Actually I favorite the use of the bandfill and the mandoviol
together... with my trusted music droid by my side I can play
both instruments at the same time.

Of course I do the Mando!
