Thread: Several reasons to have a AFK buffer
These are both my toons. Having a macro for buffing simplifies my life.
My reasons for it.
1. Time saving for myself and my guild members. We know where she is at any given time, we don't have to go looking for a mind buff from a master dancer/musician. I'm sorry I didn't pay 15$ a month to spend 2-3 hours searching for a Musician/Dancer so that I can get mind buffs. That's a waste of real money, not credits from a game.
2. I didn't do musician/dancer for a source of income. I did it for convinence.
Now unless one of you feel like you can be at my PA City Hall 24/7 and fulfill the shoes of my alt, then please come do it so I can switch professions and do something more interesting with her, maybe grind out Fencer, or Rifleman. If you can't fulfill the shoes she is wearing, then shut-up about the afk bots.
This is my view of it, take it how you like, but take heed, I won't be coming back to this topic I started to review comments made.
- Musician Black Book, Dancer Black Book, General Methods to find an ent, ATK channels, the fact that there's usually a master at Theed and Coronet, etc.
- I fail to see how convinience is a valid argument. You can't ent buff anywhere like a doc, and the places you have to go to get buffed usually have ents there anyways. The only exception to that is player cities. Well, recruit an ent. There's bound to be one. Even if you're a PvP guild.
What you're asking is impossible. You want to come to my cantina and doc buff me 24/7?
What if someone found a way to give doc buffs through a macro and suddenly a bunch of AFK doc bots pop up in Coronet? Suddenly no one goes to you for buffs when they can just use a bot. OOPS! There goes all your credibility and business as a doc buffer.
Try looking at the issue from both sides before saying something like this.

Heheh I see.... He knows his reasons for having a buffbot are invalid, so he's not even willing to come back and try. Just another hit and run troll.
/chuckle
If you're going to post about buffbots (in favor or against) do some research before hand and come prepared to defend your opinions either way.

There are afk buff bots and I have a second account Buff Ent bot deal with it I pay 15 dollors a month on it and I will do as I please.
I pay 15 dollars a month for my character. Should I do whatever I please? AFK macrospamming the starports, finding and using every exploit, camping static spawns? Maybe I should go out and start duping credits. It's good for me, so why shouldn't I?
If you want the answer to myquestionI can provide it in four words: This is a community.
When someone does anything to harm another member of the community (as AFK macroing does the Entertainers, especially when it comes to buffbots), the entire community is affected. When you have a me-centered attitude instead of a community-centered one, you destroy the gaming experience for everyone around you.
Perhaps I should have tacked a note about not only bringing some knowledge to discussions about buffbots, but also bringing alongsome morals and logic.

My guild? Certainly.
Another guild, I might request some sort of compensation.
