Thread: hat species make best entertainers ?

I was just wondering what you guys perfer as a species for these lovely professions ??
and why ??

I think rodian entertainers are and excellent choice as well but what I really look for when I am making an entertainer is if I can adjust thier stats to the point where they can play and dance forever at a decent rate of flourishing without needing healing or buffs. I have been able to achieve this with rodian and human dancers/musicians....I had a zabrak dancer/musician as well, but that one always seemed to need buffs to continue without rest. As did my twi'lek master dancer. It might be I just wasn't harsh enough on the other stats when migrating though *shrugs*

I have had success with many different races, sothe choice reallydepends on your preference and playstyle.

The short answer? The one you enjoy playing.
Next question is, what is your intended purpose when you become a Musician? Healing, buffing or just having fun?
Healing = Twi'lek. Racial bonus, y'know. Buffing? Probably Human. You can set the stats to all Action and be able to buff at 3:10 speed without doctor enhancements, food or drink. Having fun? Um...whichever you think is cool.

Well, if it really is hats you're after, the Twi'lek get the best... hands down.We get fabulous hats. Not a lot of quicknes, and no stamina, but fabulous hats.

I myself personally play a Rodian 
The extra action gained seems to work really well, and I find it a very multi-profession species. The action bonus, plus the effeciency they have with swords can make for good profession templates. Also, I find that since I'm already a Master Entertainer, I can change my frills a little to be extra cool for parties. Get the frill-tips to match my get-up.

Other species that seem to work are Twi'leks with entertainer healing bonuses (but something's up with their action, someone else can clarify this better.) Wookies tend to work, because they're just such wild party animals! Bothans make good musicians, but there aren't many running around.
Mon Calamari tend to have low action as do Zabraks (I think...) And I have seen a couple Trandoshans play, but I'm not sure how effectively.

Technically, Twi'lek get the best quickness, Rodian the best stamina, and humans have a bug that lets them get their stats way higher than they should be able to. Purely stat-wise, Rodian are the best.

IMO everyone laughs at the Wookiee, which I don't see as a bad thing.

I have an action pool of 400, yet I can dance or play music indefinitely. I guess that is due to the awesome human stat 'bug' that may or may not exist.

Exactly. Twi'leks make the best hat entertaining species. Conversely, they make the worst hat combat species. No Twi'lek looks good in any type of helmet. This causes me great consternation because looking good is really the most important thing.
