omg LOL... I can see SOE trying to write up the story lines now...
Whip: Some of the villagers who lost their fathers and sons in the attack need some cheering up and we're all out of dancers! Will you dance for them?
Your quest: Dance for five wounded villagers to uplift their spirits.
Whip: Oh thank god, you've saved our village from certain doom!

Well, it wouldn't be that hard for the devs to make quests that entertainers can do that does not actually contain entertaining. Escort missions, espionage, etc.
Quite frankly, I think the developers just plain forgot that there are entertainers in the game. (As far as I understand it, the entertainer healing mods in the FS healing tree was added after entertainers pointed out that there was nothing for them). Seems like they "forgot" to make a way for entertainers to actually get this skill tree. ![]()

ok.. this is one of the new profession based quests for the new players that join the game, since they got rid of choosing your begining profession during the creation of your character. All you get for this quest is a new badge and a crappy piece of cloting that has no mods on it at all. Still at least its something to do.

I was impressed, too...
The focus on information was great, and the fact that the mechanics for giving that sort of quest with the interactive pop-up are in the game is promising.
Also, I thought the reward was well done. It let me choose my gender and race, guaranteeing that I would be able to use what I was given, instead of say a leotard as a reward for a male dancer.
Shows that they're listening to at least one aspect of our issues.
Yay!

You know what would be cool? If they made overhearing NPC rumors and conversations a real skill that we have all the time, not just for this 1 quest. We could overhear NPC conversations in Hotels and Cantinas all over the galaxies and get access to valuable information that we could then sell to other players in game. It would make entertainer a little bit more worthwhile i think.
