Thread: Sesnes Tree, when do Musicians get to unlock?

Entertainers can't complete any of the quests.
There's another healing quest in Phase 2 or 3 that unlocks the Healing tree, but since we can't heal or buff in the Village, you need to pick up Novice Medic for it.
I have a question about this, that I can never get a complete answer that unequivocally leaves no room for misinterpretation.
Ok, so I know that in this Phase I quest, you have to be master medic. But, this other quest that unlocks the healing tree that we can then exchange our entertainer experience for, do we have to be master medic or is novice medic sufficient? Can we unlock the tree that allows us to get our wound healing FS skills by only having novice medic?
I might consider temporarily moving around 15 skill points, but I can not ever see myself having to drop an entire skillset for master medic.
Does anyone know?

You only need Novice Medic. For the quest you must run around the Village and heal 50 people as they're fighting. So, as long as you can heal damage, you can do the quest.

i picked up novice medic to try and do this phase 1 quest, all i could get was the message stating i needed to be a MASTER medic to do the job... with the conflicting reports and the lack of ANY entertainment based quests... SOE needs to seriously re-think the whole village concept since it goes against what they have said... work on opening your FS/Jedi abilities with the playstyle of your choice instead of holo-grinding...
what they must have meant was ... "open the slot and get started on your jedi path by the playstyle of OUR choice.. if you aint listed... scrap your profession that we dont want you to play anyways and deal with it. now get busy on Uber-Grind 2.0"

The Master Medic requirement is during Phase 1 of the Village, where you have to cure villagers of several types of symptoms by crafting medicinesfrom different types of resources to achieve differing experimentation results to cure various symptoms.
In other phases, I am fairly certain all we have to do is heal with Novice Medic...even though that is still an expected slap in the face to those of us who have been healing mind wounds and battle fatigue since beta.
Why didn't you folks join me in attacking the Jedi trials bug threads while all this was being tested? I repeatedly posted that there was a bug in the Entertainer Quests because they weren't showing up. Didn't you want to get flamed, not responded to, and insulted just because you wanted a shot at Jedi like any other player of this game? Didn't you want to hear the loving comments from our happy buff customers such as:
"An entertainer Jedi? What a joke!"
"Go back in the cantina, where you belong."
"Jedi takes combat, so you have no reason to want a Jedi."
"Shut up and stop whining."
Here's what absolutely SUCKS about this current system. As you said, in other phases all we have to do is heal with Novice Medic. But, by not being able to unlock in the first Phase, we're all at a 3 WEEK DISADVANTAGE as opposed to everyone else who gets in the Village. We can't unlock anything during Phase 1 that will benefit us, so we wait until Phase 2 to unlock a branch. We've already lost the chance to unlock 1 branch - so it'll take us an extra cycle before we can get to Initiate.
The only alternative I can see is that we can use Crafting Tools, right? Because we can make Dual Wave Synthesizers...although grinding away at crafting has little to nothing to do with Entertainers, it may be our only shot at doing SOMETHING useful in this first Phase.
This situation absolutely SUCKS. I'm tired of being ignored. No customer of any company should be treated this way.
At least I have some cool people to hang out with amidst the BS, though![]()

Warryyr,
I followed the threads, and I read your posts. As far as being afraid to post in those threads, it was not so much that, as it was I have just resigned myself to never getting a Jedi with my main, Durney. I have a character on Shadowfire that is surging and I have yet to finish the Rebel Themepark with him. I bet thats all I would need to do. Oh, and he is a Master Smuggler / Master Commando and he traveled all over the place and he is almost a Captain in the Rebel Alliance, but I really don't enjoy playing him and i have IRL friends that play and we all moved back to Lowca so now I play Durney as often as I can, which is a lot now, and switch to my alt Dunk the Master Ranger /Master CH when I am running low on money or when my friends want to go running around.
I apologize for any perceived lack of a "backbone"![]()
I agree with you on feeling like we are being ignored. I have really wrestled with myself about my future with this game. I have asked myself if the game was even fun anymore, or was I just hanging on because of loyalty to my friends that I convinced to play this game. The answers I have come up with were, the game really is, still fun in a lot of areas, entertainering being one of them, especially with the damned hologrind over. And I still see huge amounts of potential for this game. i just hope that it can be tapped sooner than later.
I really am looking forward to JTL and even have 2 copies preordered. I think it will be very, very fun. I am going to be aligning myself with the Hutt faction in space, as I have a very mercenary outlook in regards to selling my services to anysideheck, I will play for anyone that will listen to me
I have to agree with you about awesome people here. If not for them, I would rarely even post on the forums at all.

I apologize, I by no means meant to infer anyone didn't have any "backbone," honestly. ![]()
I just wish we had a more dominant prescence while all this was being worked out, so that *maybe* the Devs would've realized how badly they screwed us over, and how unhappy Force Sensitive-seeking Entertainers will be when they see we get the SHAFT.
I'm not really upset at anyone for not joining in. Just wished we'd all have banded together to show our strength. The problem is, as I put in a post earlier sometime or another, a lot of folks who don't post much in the forums WILL post in the forums when they realize, hey - i'm an Entertainer and I got 2 things in this Village...Jack and **edit**, and Jack just left the Village.
I really wish something could have been discussed with the Dev team regarding this, if nothing else I'm very disappointed to see these kind of posts. We tried, we really did - and we got IGNORED.
