Been getting around 2.5k for an entire 16hr day. In beta, I was getting about that in just 3 hours. Not sure if it's because people just had more money then (likely..) or whether new folks are just being stingy. hehe Many people have been tipping around 5 to 75 credits. Beta was more around 100 to 500 credits per tip. So I don't really know what to expect since things in beta were skewed quite a bit (money was easier to get, as were levels for several professions).

My cash flow on Sunday was roughly the same as Pend's, but considerably less on Friday and Saturday. The economy when a server comes up is very poor, and it takes a while for a player run economy to really take form. When more money is passed around, there will be larger tips. As I said, there was a large jump from Friday to Sunday, and hopefully the money will flow even more as the game matures.

I would say the same... 2.5-3k

there are the slow nights to, where you get about 200 credits in 4 hours work...

however, this game is now in it's infancy stages. in a few weeks, you'll see better musicians/dancers, with better instruments/dance moves, and hopefully, customers more willing to give out the credits! :^P

I don't make the much, but I decided to set up shop on Rori and understand that it is kind of low on the population compaired to other planets. A good night I can make 1.5K. Slow night about 600-1K

One thing that is annoying is that alot of professions make alot of money and when they use us they don't tip anything. We chat and jam, but in the end he just stands and walks away. I even heard this guy brag about having over 20K and watch him tip me 25 cedits. Frustrating, but it's really not about the money, more of the lack of respect for our class. Face it, some players don't want to spend money when they don't have to and we will suffor for it.

Actually, I have come to find out through my experiences that you cannot rely on tips.

I rely on missions to make my credits.

Most of the tips will go to the female dancers, and female musiciansif they are there. Most nights I get , if I am lucky, 300 credits in tips. If I am the only one there, I can get about 1200 credits, but the tips usuallyslow down tonil as soon as the females arrive.

I wouldnt count on tips.

My Motto: Tips are never necessary.

Martyn, what kinds of missions do you take? I'm a complete newb and haven't done anything other than hang out in the cantina since I started.

true you can't relay on tips. But when you work on your music all day and in the end you are way behind everyone else because they just don't feel like it. We work hard, we don't just fire a blaster. It's a art trying to work a large crowd, and to come out with only 200 credits from 15 people is very disapointing. And it hinders your progress because you are forced to earn money from delivery missiions and such when other proffesions can gain exp and make money at the same time. I hope this makes sense, but from the way I see it, it is really unblanced to the fighter classes.

Delivery missions are my income, not tips.

The thing to remember is it's chaotic. It's not a steady 50 credits per customer. It's one customer who tips 500 and 9 others who stiff you. On a good night you can have four good customers in a row and make a nice chunk of change; on a bad night, you can get 100 credits for 4 hours of work.

The worst part are the customers who feel "entitled" to the performances, or who think that the healing XP should be reward enough (yeah right, like I didn't cap THAT pool out long ago).

The other night I'm in the cantina in a 5-man band. By sheer coincidence, all three musicians ran out of Action points within 30 seconds of each other, and one guy in the audience immediately starts yelling at us to get back to work, because he's got wounds. He was one of those people who hadn't figured out how to clone himself and took the death penalty. Twice.

Last night, I was out hunting when I saw a 12-man group of friends running around killing everything that moved. They wouldn't let anyone else into the group because they were all RL friends, and they spent most of the night out there. Well, I was in the cantina later when they came in, badly fatigued. Out of the 12 of them, only two left any tips, and a couple of them spent the whole time yelling how it's not fair that they're forced to come back to town for healing.

I just can't wait for two months from now, when every decent entertainer will be in a private cantina with a cover charge. Why would we want to stick around in a public cantina where we'd have to put up with this sort of thing? Imagine how the cheap audiences will respond to THAT.

The best missions that I have done is from Mos Eisly to Mos Espa (sp?)

Choose delivery and keep spamming refresh until you get a mission for 700+. From Mos Eisly you want the coords to be 95-9700 NW and the opposite from Mos Espa. Get two and make the first contact. /find shuttle port and follow waypoint.

The only thing that slows me down is the **edit** waiting for the shuttle. I it weren't for that I could easily make 10k a night. Right I only have the patience for 3-6k a night.

Great night: 10k

Good night: 8k

average: 5-7k

slow: 3-5

smallest tip:0-food, Largest 3500 & metal

Fella's idk what your doing but you should be making about 1500 an hour i'd say at the minimum once you have a good rep and maybe 600/hr b4 that. If your cantina is slow then advertise and really really work the crowd. Tell them to give you ne thing on trade. or if they have nothing tell them to group with you and run a mission... helps them and you.... If you want to c what i do then just come to the bestine cantina and look for the Awi Weu experience featuring: the Famous Fat Wookie Band. I would say our group including those that just team with us total about 50k/ night or more. ok well i hope that helps

On my place we really work the crowd, and even improve alot of stuff. Great everyone as they walk in and wish them well when they leave. But still on a great day I get maybe 1k-2k. (after 3 hours) Alot of it has to do withthe players around you and if you are greedy and tip 25 from their 200k of credits there an't nothing you can do but beg. Pain in the butt. Entertainers sould just sit on the stag and if they don't tip you, they don't get healed, STRIKE!!!!

lol just kidding, but still if people arn't going to tip on your server they an't a dang thing you can do about it. No matter how many converstaions and songs you sing to the crowd, some people only want money and will hold on to it as hard as they can.
